Good morning LL!

We're starting to get the hang of ear pokes. He did get hissy and tried to bite my hand. Instead he got a mouthful of cottonball. Poor Junior, he got even more mad. And it didn't help that I stepped on his tail while I was getting up. Oh boy....

Otherwise yesterday's numbers looked good and I managed to even get in a late night poke. The flat nadir was probably from a food spike since I've been trying to feed him more.

Morning! wow - what great numbers! Nice too to read that the pokies are getting better., Too funny on the cottonball, and bummer on the tail step. poor guy - such horrors! He is truly looking good though. Very nice job! :-D :-D

wowser, what super great numbers junior's having! that's just awesome - perhaps it makes up for the abuse he's suffering at your hands. :lol:

rather than sprinkling oregano on his food...have you tried the Fortiflora? or chicken dust? sort of a "different" enticement for him???? just throwing that out there for you....

Bahahaha! OMG I never thought of that! And I totally got that -- so I wonder if that means I'm old and obscure?

@Rocket's bean - I haven't tried fortiflora yet. Just saw it on amazon.com -- it's a little pricey for me right now but I'll try it once I find a job!

@Celi -- I think that picture is going to keep me up at night! :lol:

I've been practicing straddling Junior and giving chicken treats at +2 and +4. Tuna flakes lost its effectiveness b/c he was associating them with paw pokes so I'm hoping to prevent that with steamed chicken. So far so good and I'm hoping to get some +2 and +4s in within the next day or so.

You guys all make me laugh!
