Another flat yellow day so far for Crystal. Gave her 4.0u R this morning but I doubt whether I will give her any at PMPS as we are out for dinner tonight.

Kitties and beans are wilting here, 37 degrees at 15.00 and rising - no one has any energy for anything, time for a swim and a nap before having to get ready, wish we didn't have to go.

Though not bad numbers, I know you prefer blues. I think the resistance is fighting back - and hard, despite being as aggressive you are. I know you won't want to hear this, but I definitely see an increase needed. And a sizeable one. Wishing I could say otherwise, but the IAA is fighting back hard and with a vengeance.

One of our other acros near London is having the surgery next week (2 have just completed surgery in Pullman, Washington, USA). Not sure if that's really an option for you, but I remember when Julie calculated the cost of treating with high doses of insulin vs SRT. The break-even point was just a matter of months.

@Grayson & Lu - I think you are right Lu-Ann, do you think I have any hope of controlling it, let alone trying to get ahead of the IAA, with just increasing the R or does it have to be a Lev increase too?
With regards to SRT, not available here in France and there is no way I would travel to the UK with her, the logistics just would not work. So I can only do my best with the Lev and the R at my disposal. After tonight, we don't have any social arrangements for a while so I can increase and monitor her safely.

329 at AMPS, thought she would be high as no R given last night. Gave 6uR to see if this brings her down.

Hope the 6R works for Crystal. Can only imagine how frustrated and down you must get at times with this wretched disease.
But you have to know you are doing an amazing job with little Miss Crystal. I am full of admiration
