Not surprised he is in the pink, we gave him DM dry last night to eat as its the only thing he will eat. Last night he wouldn't eat any fancy feast (enzymes or not) so I managed to get him to eat some DM dry which I had in the freezer - I moistened it well and mixed in some enzymes and he ate some. However this morning he won't even take that - with or without the enzymes.

Only thing he wants today is freeze dried liver treats.. and not many of those. He is getting really bony and skinny. :sad:

Last night he was lying with his head against the water bowl for a while (odd) and then this morning was sitting and drooling a bit (also odd)

I dont like this and dont know whats going on. I dont know if its the flagyl or the diarrhea or the enzymes or a combo. I have a call into the vet.

I mentioned this earlier -- Flagyl is notorious for loss of appetite.

You may need to try a different enzyme. Alternatively, you can get a compounding pharmacy to put the enzymes in a gel cap. See the section on Treatment in this link on EPI from a vet clinic that has great online info.

Ok vet says to stop the pancreas powder for 5 days and stop the flagyl for 2 days. Then restart the flagyl at once a day.

Sending many feel-better prayers to you and Bailey. Hopefully stopping the meds for a few days will help you figure out what exactly is going on.

I can sympathize, I'm sorry that Bailey is not eating and not feeling well. Keeping You both in our thoughts and prayers. Bailey, eat some fuds, ok?

sorry Bailey isn't feeling well. GI stuff seems so hard to get control over. I wish I had some answers. I'm dealing with similar problems with KK right now. :sad:

We stopped everything this morning and his appetite is back - looks like it was the enzymes..
