Morning,

I got up for a +7 last night and found that Zeus had vomited a tiny bit again, it looked like the rest of the FF appetizer that he had eaten. Poor little guy. Got up to give him Pepcid again this morning, then went about the usual routine of changing water bowls, washing the overnight food dishes, scooping the LBs... He poo'd again, it was a small amount... I don't know how he can poo so much the last couple of days.

I hope that Zeus will feel better today, and eat some food... He did just come to me for a few pats and scritches. His tail is up, and he was walking back and forth for me to pat him. He is drinking water now, hmmmm. I very rarely see him drink water. I will call the vet today to discuss all of this.

Time to TFS, BRB. Ok... Not a bad AMPS, but he doesn't want to eat. Tried BF and a FF medley, wouldn't touch either one. I heated up some friskies chicken and tuna for Smokey but Zeus decided he would like to try it. He slurped the water, and stopped. I tried putting more water and heating it up again, but he wasn't interested. So... I broke out the good stuff, he's eating FF gravy lovers. He's even eating the bits of meat. So good to see him eat, even if it has to be the HC stuff.

I'm sorry Zeus threw up again last night, but I'm glad he's eating this morning even if it is HC. The important thing is that he's eating. I hope you can get some good answers from you vet today.

Thanks Carla. The good news is that Zeus ate the whole can of FF gravy lovers. I hope he keeps it down :-D

Please Zeus! Keep it down. Hope the vet can give you some answers and something for the nausea. I am glad he ate something, and that he is looking for rub. Some normalcy in this day. Appy/healing vines for Zeus, Kathie.

I'm glad he's eating something. Top priority, he needs to eat.

We give ondansetron for nausea and cyproheptadine for appy stimulant. It's a good combo for him. Sending tons of vines of Zeus.

Hi Katbie - I am sorry too Zeus isn't feeling well. I hope a good nausea med will help. It did for mannie. I would feed whatever he wants . Its great that he ate, even if it was HC. Impt thing is that he eats, whatever it takes. Thinking of you guys. Hugs to all.
 
Hi Everyone, thanks for stopping in to check on Zeus. Unfortunately, at some point he did vomit the HC food this morning. But the good news is that the Vet agreed to let us try the ondansetron and the cypro, he said no to begin with, but I told him that's what you all use and recommended. He did look them up first and let me know what some of the side effects could be. And then he said it would be good to try them, so He is calling it in the prescriptions for us, and I should be able to have them tonight. I hope they help my Zeusman.

Another good news item, Zeus just ate a whole can of FF Medleys. He doesn't look like he feels good so I am surprised that he ate. He laid on the couch for about 15 minutes after he ate, but now he is in the other room washing his face. Hope that is a good sign. I wonder if part of the problem is the heat and humidity too. I will be giving him more fluids tonight as well.

Really wonderful news that he ate! Keep in inside, OK Zeus?

I'm also glad you are getting the new meds.
Having a plan to try new meds is also good for you too! Keeps you positive and not helpless!
