Alrighty folks...

This morning Scott woke up to feed the 4am (+9) meal and all went well... but it didn't really do much. AMBG was 101 on one ear, and 92 on the other so we sortof averaged the two for her official number. I don't like that her last couple morning numbers have been on the high side, especially with the afternoon numbers being so nice. One theory is that she's barely snacking at 4am, but then sneaking the rest in between 6am and 7am so the am reading's a little contaminated. Do you think that might be?

Do you have a feeder that will close 2 hours before testing in am? That would be one way to check.Then again, ambg does tend to be higher and as long as she brings herself down all is well.

It's possible the morning numbers are reflecting a food spike. She is bringing herself down and staying normal numbers (50-120). I don't think there are any worries. I don't know of a feeder that closes on its own. The numbers are what they are and she is recovering from them. Happy Day 13.

Actually if you have a 5 compartment feeder you can set it to move to an empty space 2 hours before test time.
