Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Thank you Elsa! I see the board finally came back last night, sorry I never got on again. Tess had a great day yesterday and I missed getting her :mrgreen: up. Last night the silly bean slept through the +7 alarm, but the 8% had done it's work.
Tess has taken to sleeping in the bedroom on John's pillow. She misses her daddy lap in the morning. confused_cat John and his sibs have gotten through clearing out his mother's house, so now they get to hike in the Black Hills and catch up.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club, Vines to all the kittehs in need of them and hugs to all their beans.

Thanks for the info. on the blood tests and the link to the website. Sienne also sent me a p.m. about the abbreviations and what they mean. Rusty is his normal self this morning and coming down from the vetty bounce.

I have been in e-mail correspondence with Wild Callings! (with the Vice President, no less, who answers queries immediately!!!). I was concerned that the more recent cans of Cabin Fever have a fat content that is much higher than the older cans (10% vs. 6%). He said that their continued testing showed that 6% was wrong, so they have changed the percentage on the labels to reflect the actual percentage of fat. I don't know how this figures into your calculations in the chart on your spreadsheet. After several attempts to get the "as fed" typical nutrient analysis for protein, fat, and carbs (I think he was replying to someone who had a question about phosphorous in dog food and got his answers sent to the wrong person), he finally said in another reply that the % of carbs in Cabin Fever is less than 1%. I guess this is possible since the fat content is so high and the food is supposed to be 96% chicken. Anyway, Rusty likes this food and I'd like to be able to feed it in confidence. I haven't heard back from Canidae about the percentage of protein, fat, and carbs. They were still trying to figure it out. I'll pursue it again later in the summer. In the meantime, I'm not feeding it (even though I have my replacement cans for the ones that contained--apparently--their dog-food formula!).

Yikes! Come down from there, Tess, I don't want to have to send Zener over with the ropes. That's nice that John and his sibs get to have a little decompression time from cleaning out the house. That has to be one of the toughest jobs ever. That's cute that Tess is sleeping on his pillow. :-D

Tess, pleas come down - that is way too high!!! I hope John is able to enjoy is decompression time. I imagine cleaning out is Mom's house was draining.

I am glad that john's trip is going well. never a fun ting, but I hope he is doing OK.

And Tess! What is up with that +3???? Yesterday was great, more of those, please...
