Good morning LL!
Stinky pinky this morning. I think he must have gone lower in the night than I stayed awake for. Happy furry purry guy all night, snuggled in between DH and I. All 5 p's are present this morning. The kitties appetites have waned with the record heat we are having, only eating 4 cans between then rather than the 6 they normally do. I weighed Tarragon yesterday and he is at 11.6 pounds, which is great. He has quite the belly on him these days. Turnup, on the other hand, is down to 9.4. When she was a younger kitty she was up to 18. She is getting old and eats like a bird so I imagine that is what the deal is. I check her BG every month or so and have had bloodwork done on her in the last few months.
I didn't get online yesterday. I was busy in the kitchen. Canned 12 more pints of salsa, boiled two chickens and froze chicken stock and ground chicken, finished up some sewing and got in the pool. It was 102 yesterday and is suppose to be triple digits for the next 7 days. The heat isn't the problem. It's the 40 - 50% humidity that goes along with it. This is what August is usually like here so I hate to even imagine three more months of this.
Short week at tbp. Mason and I take our "mother/son" vacation on Thursday to Las Vegas for a few days. Woohoo!!! We will spend Friday with Patty (& Champ). DH will be BIC. Hope you all have a great day!!
