6/25 Sox amps 416 Advice anyone??

Since he got this increase his numbers are very high could be bounce or is it too much insulin or does he need more ...any ideas ???
 
I am not sure why Sox got the increase to 2.75 units. He got to 79 the cycle before the increase and was down in the 50's a couple days before that. I would have held the dose. I think he's bouncing a lot, and it could be from the steep drops. For example, the evening of 6/22, he went from 367 to 210 two hours later. A drop of 157 points in two hours will cause most cats to bounce. Sis might try feeding some smaller meals early in the cycle, say +1 and +2, to see if she can even out those drops. Some earlier tests in the cycle might show if he's doing more of those fast drops.
 
So would it be better to go back to 2.5 u she read about fail dose decrease so went with what she understood......Thanks for replying Kath
 
We have a problem coming up on Sat she will have a house filled with her son and 4 grandkids and will not be able to check and watch as often so how can she set a dose that he will be safe at? She will still check about 3-4 times at am&pm time ...so can you suggest something she can try..... they will be home 10 days Thanks you Kath & Sis
