Hi Everyone,

It's been pouring since late last night, we all went btb after AMPS, and then I got wrapped up in trying to upgrade our Internet router, so I'm late. Rusty is recovered from his trauma. He was still high this morning, but I'm hoping that he is now on the way back to normal numbers, especially since he got a drop added to his dose yesterday. We are now back to a fat 1.25 units.

This morning the routine went well. And best of all, Rusty accepted his "lung treat" (Allerplex in Stage 1 turkey babyfood). I opened the bottle the vet had ordered from Standard Process. Even though it was the same lot number and same expiration date as the bottle I got online from Amazon, he ate his treat. I can't imagine that the capsules in the online bottle were compromised: everything was sealed. But who knows. We'll see if Rusty will take his "treat" tomorrow.

We are going to a Christmas party 6 months to the day after Christmas: CHRISMOOSE. Friends of ours have this every year. Too bad it is pouring rain. The mosquitoes will be fierce (our friends live way out in the country). But we'll probably spend most of the time inside, not on the open deck. I'll come back from the party for Rusty's PMPS and shot and then go back to the party. We'll have fun playing board games (Mexican Train Dominos; Pairs Pears; Crockinole; etc.

Hope everyone is doing well today,

Ella & Rusty

it looks like that extra drop is kicking in already. Have fun tonight, sounds like a great party!

BTW, I looked up the blood test info and replied in yesterday's condo.

Poor Rusty. I'm glad he's recovered from yesterday. Nice slide to blue today. Have fun at the party.

Oh, Rusty, you did have a traumatic day. Poor guy. Awesome information from Ann. She is amazing, as are many others on this board. :-D :-D

Looks like Rusty is really working the juice and recovering from yesterday's trauma! Next stop, the lagoon!!!

FWIW, my GA civvie Mario almost always had elevated eosinophils. Long story short, our vet ultimately determined that in his case, it was most likely caused by stress. Since Rusty had a particularly stressful day, maybe that's the case for him, too.

Yay on the lung treat! Maybe the old batch, even though it's the same lot, is "stale". These kitties are SO much more sensitive to that sort of thing than we are.

Enjoy your party....it is hard to believe that Christmas was 6 months ago (and will be happening in 6 months  ), but it sounds like a blast!

Poor Rusty. I just got caught up on his very bad day yesterday. Looks like he is rebounding well now. The party sounds like fun. I hope you have a great night!

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

it is great to see Rusty recovering from his trauma, and that amps. It's a nice slow drop Rusty, and I hope tomorrow will find you back in the lagoon. :-D

Enjoy CHRISMOOSE!! I had forgotten about that party, and had a good smile when I read that earlier today. I met to comment then, but had to leave.

Very interesting on the meds. I cannot wit to hear what happens tomorrow with the lung treat....

Have a great evening Ella, I hope the party is a ton of fun I am sure it will be. ENJOY!!

Nice to see Rusty recovering from yesterday's drama. The lagoon is but a step away.

I too am waiting to see what he things about his lung treat tomorrow. My civie had a higher EOS on his last bloodwork too.

Enjoy the party tonight!
