Hi Everyone,
Rusty almost caught a chipmunk today. He was sitting next to me on the lawn and all of a sudden he took off like a lightening bolt. I could hear the chip-chip yelling as he ran (Chip Chip escaped yet again)! Rusty had another adventure later in the afternoon. A friend came over to borrow a canoe and we were talking for quite a while outside. Rusty was indoors, so we thought. But then, who should come walking around the side of the garage but Rusty. Apparently Edward left the door slightly open and a gust of wind blew it open and Rusty went out. He was looking for us, and when he saw us he ran over to us, meowing a greeting. What a great cat! He rubbed his head against me for a good ten minutes. It was very touching.
Pretty good appetite today. Going downstairs to hold Rusty's dinner bowl. bbl,
