Well school is out and once I get through the all day pet adoption expo tomorrow, things should settle down to where I can hopefully get Meadow consistently into the blues and greens. I'll settle for all yellow at the moment though! ;)

Hope everyone is having a good day. Yesterday was a horrendously humid day and Meadow needed extra pred due to her asthma acting up bigtime. But she is doing better today.
Giving her little ears a break. They look sort of calloused to me. Of course I worry over every little thing. But we'll do another curve soon. I have to figure out when her nadir is. Can anyone tell that from her SS?

Here's a link to yesterday's very short and very boring condo. ;)

Hi Dottie,

From the data you have it looks like on the average Meadow's nadir is around +4. Now you know I'm no expert and I defer to those who know, but that ishow it appears to me looking at your numbers. There are a few times when the lowest number is sooner or later, and many times when there is no data to know for sure, but as I said from teh average of what is availalbe that is how it looks to me.

I know what you mean about the ears. Purrcie's poor ears are so sore. I've been putting some Neosporin pain medication on them when I know I'm not going to be able to test for a few hours hoping it helps but I feel so bad! When you poke, does it go all the way through? I use a warm wet washcloth behind his ear but when I poke it feels like the needle goes all the way through every time. I hate that little pop sound it makes. Am I doing it wrong? UGH! Sometimes I don't get blood and have to poke two or three times. It kills me, especially when he cries.

I think if you do a full curve (testing every 2 hrs), you'll be able to tell where the nadir is. However, the nadir can change from cycle to cycle and day to day. It's a bit of a moving target.
