6/25 Maxi AMPS 496 Continued Diarrhea

Maxi had a b.m. this morning of half formed poo and half light-colored diarrhea.

I continue to give S. boul. every few (ca. 3) hours.

He ate well if with a little less appetite than usual.

Last night's was a partial fur shot.

I lost track of time again and didn't increase to 13 units as I should have this morning.

Inappetance increased. I gave Cerenia.

You want at least six consecutive shots on a dose that is giving you blues. And since you got as low as 106, I would hold at least 8. The cycle count would have been interrupted with the partial fur shot, so you only did five cycles in a row. In other words, it was fine to hold the dose this morning. Thank goodness for R.

I hope the Cerenia helps him feel better.

Here is the post on Counting Cycles. You did 5 cycles in a row, then the fur shot. The cycle count started over at 1 this morning, so hold onto 12 units.

I'm relieved that he ate pretty well this evening though I can tell he doesn't feel well.

I'm very upset. Maxi has the same symptoms he had when he got so very sick recently. I'm worried that he has pancreatitis again. I don't know what to do.
