What a wonderful day yesterday for Mannie - blues and greens: back to back cycles, coming off a fabulous all blue day the day before. How great it is to see things like this.... I still hold my breath every time I run a test... will our good fortune continue.... I am ever so grateful to think, that for the now, it is. Well done Mannie, you make this easy - your bean lubs ya, and is so proud of you. cat_pet_icon

I hope to go today, providing Mannie gives me my permission slip. It's an all day venture, over in the eastern part of out state: a canyon creek hike. Can I Mannie, please? I promise to be back on time, feed you really good fuds, and remember to leave your nanners alone, and wash all your fleece. OK, we good to go?

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :cool: No kitty choir wake up call this morning. :shock: no one waiting in the kitchen. :shock: what is up with that? Good thing I didn't rely on the kitty alarms system this morning.... :lol: :lol: Mannie had a good test, feed, shoot - all was greeted with purrs. :cool: :razz: He's currently giving the other kitty-nip toys a vigorous workout... no nanners???? :o It looks like he slept with them last night - that is where I found him this morning... maybe security there has been established and it's ok to visit his back-up stash... :lol: :lol:

Have a good day everyone. I do so hope I can go hike... waiting on that magic +2 to see the direction of this cycle. paws crossed! :razz: I hope to visit condos when I get home.

Very nice numbers for Nanner KIng this morning. I love Mannie's picture on the side of his condo. He looks as if he's surveying all that is his :lol: Actually, that's probably exactly what he's doing! Have a great day and keep those #s lovely.

I'm glad you got to go on your hike!! Mannie's a real trooper!!! I can't believe he gave the nanners a break from his attentions!! Wonder if they get jealous and do like a Toy Story thing when everyone's asleep? :lol: :lol:

Hi Michelle: I am thrilled you got out today but even more thrilled with how amazing Mannie is doing. I know you could not be happier with his progress. You've done such a great job with him.

I hope you had a marvelous hike and all things were perfect for you today. You deserve those wonderful breaks out in nature.

Mannie....we're up for anything!!! Teddi might need more KTSS to get the vetty smell off her!!!

The Nanner King is doing vey well these days. Its fun watching him come down the glucose ladder. You've done a wonderful job.

125 @ +10.5. :shock: I think I am glad I left all those 10% carb foods, and had DH feed him on the hour until +8. quite the day you have had Mannie.... :shock: :cool: :razz: :-D

Thanks all for the visit - the hike was awesome, and I am ever so glad i chose this one. It was a canyon hike with a trail that followed a creek that ran through the canyon. Only required 2 creek crossings, and I managed to keep the feet dry. Scenery was just incredible, wildflowers were everywhere, including some small blooming cactus, birds were everywhere - so many varsities (one was a vivid blue - gorgeous), and my one snake (one cannot hike eastern washington without snakes....): not a western rattler, but his harmless cousin the bull snake. WHAT A GREAT DAY!!!

Hi Bev - THX on the photo - and you are right - that is exactly what he was doing... he loves it out there, picks that spot so he can survey his kingdom. :cool: :lol: and thx - day was GREAT!

Hi Roni - Hike was great - and wow on Mannie - blue it was. can't believe he posted a 125 with all the carbs I left for him. wow!

Hi Ella - that is was, well I was going, so fed him what I though he would need to "hold the line". I love that 125 @ +10.5. impressive!

Hi Sherry - thanks - it was so gorgeous out there - 68, sunny, nice soft breeze, awesome scenery - very nice canyon/desert hike. Pics should be up tomorrow, maybe tonight if I can get them off the camera...

Hi Ann, and Miss Tess - you are so right. it is the one place I can go and feel renewed, forget all the "stuff" that waits to be dealt with or worried over - works every time. Something about being on a trail, void of "human stuff" that is so wonderful. Love it! And that Mannie did - I think I am glad though that I had DH feed him as much as I did. wow on the 125 when I got home.....

HI Ann, and Miss Maggie - Me too! I was a little worried with that 141 at amps, I would have preferred a little higher one... but it seems to have been OK. just fed MC, and it seems to have kept him steady. PHEW!!!! and thank you - you are too kind. The day was great - I am so glad I went.

Hi Julie - You're back! YAY!!! thanks on the writes... I try, just to make it a little more fun. It's all Mannie, just with a little humorous spin on it all. Hike was great. Glad that you have good weather too - nice for us in the pnw to have good weather!

Hi patty - oh I know on the nanners.... I always check his temp - ya know: the head touch - when he does that. Guess he felt allw as well with the stash, so on to the others.... :lol: :lol: Oh too funny on the toy story thing....

Hi Marje - thanks - me too: on the out, and on Mannie. It is just so cool. what I liked about today was that what I thought would work did, kept him in the blue (i'm guessing), and didn't send him to the stratosphere. It was so nice to come home to that 125. and thanks on the rest - you too are too kind. I loved the hike - there is something magical about desert hiking... very different, very nice.

Gracie - OK! Than let's go - off to Zoe's for some lap work - me and rusty well... we gots to loose a few pounds.... and then onto your place, for your bean and Teddi. OK? Maybe we can grill later! ~~ Mannie

Hi Tena - thanks! I am happy with how he is doing - it has been such a long hauls, and well... to have him post all this blue an green is just too good to believe. LOVE IT!, and hope everyday that it stays. :cool: :cool: and a big YES (!!!!) on the hike - it was a good one.
