Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) :-D ye, that many: hike recovery mode!), and Happy Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are off o a grand adventure. hey thought it would be cool to visit all the pizza places her to see if they can get some ideas for their business. Crazy huh. I thinks they are good enough aleady, but Bug wants to make them even better. HUH? ;-) It was so weird.... yesterday I could have sworn I saw Emma and Lola and Tess's furrari, burning rubber and spinning wheels as they tore out of my driveway... What is up with that? I duuno! I think I will just stick to making ~O) ... I be good at that.... so. well. anyways. onwards! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and and Cappuccinos with extra foam for all! For all my mocha fans: a Venti quad Irish cream infused white mocha, with hazelnut whip, garnished with caramelized nut clusters and white chocolate shavings... OH! No worries, a dollop of hazelnut and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. I had a great hike - over to Eastern Washington to an area that has sand dunes, on the Columbia River. Theta are quite impressive, and it always amazes me that these things exist in our state. Very cool! This is what I wrote about the hike in last night's post: "Hi everyone. I am finally home. I went to white Bluffs, near Mattawa: our very own sand dunes (!!) :-D It has been a fun, but long day. . Funny how when you haven't been to a place in a while you forget some of the logistics: like 3 hours to get there, and it is out in the middle of no-mans land. so... time to unwind from alot of hours behind the wheel. wet hours. lol.OMG on the drive over to Mattawa today. Nothing but rain all the way there, 3 hours of driving in that slop. LOL! In some areas the wipers could not work fast enough. oh well, as much as I "complain" the mountains and clouds and wet were very pretty. The dam on the Columbia, outside of Vantage, what is it called: wanapum (??) was really nice: lots of water going through that thing. I had rain for the first 30 minutes of the hike, they stopped after that. Lots of clouds, and not much sun, but I knew that when I picked this one. Dunes were great. Always fun to climb ad walk on top of those things. It was fun. No critters this trip, but did see alot of deer tracks - all over, even on top of the dunes." Here is the Picassa link to the hike photos, and a series of photos taken while in en-route, The drive was a wet one, and I really enjoy what rain does to the landscape. The clouds were impressive, and very low, covering just about anything. Everything has such a shine to it. Beautiful! Anyways - here you go: Road Trip: Getting there and back and White Bluffs

When I came home from my hike yesterday I was greeted by Lola and Bug, and eventually Elsa. I loved it, if only becasue it was so nice to be met at the door. It also so reminded me of Mannie, who always met me at the door after one of my hiking adventures. He had a thing about my being late, and somehow always knew if I was. He'd have that squinty eyed stare and then the prancing back and forth, and the message was ever so clear: "Where have you been! You are late! and I, the Nanner King am Starving!" well, I didn't get that message yesterday, but did get the "We loves you, hurry up! We have been waiting forever!! We have been so good, and didn't do anything bad. WE SWEAR! Now please FEED US!" and so I did. :-D Not too sure on the "we haven't done anything bad" part... They are back to being crazy fun kitties this morning: run run run bang crash oh oh run run run... Normalcy in Three MusketeerVille.

Enjoy your day today everyone. I am off to have breffis with my DS Anthony, then my car serviced and then a trip to Seattle later in the day to have coffee with my friend Barb. YaHOO! A social day! SWEET!

KITTIES!: Think BLUE!!, Think GREEN!!

Hi, Michelle, enjoy your social day!
I love the messages our kitties give us when we come home.
"I'm SO happy to see you! (Because now you can feed me.) ;-)

Elsa, thanks for the delish coffee treat this morning! mmmm caramelized nut clusters... You're the best, Lil Bit!

The pictures are so pretty michelle, thanks for sharing! It is hard to believe all the beauty that these states really hold isn't it? I'm sure the kitties were happy you trusted they didn't do anything bad and fed them first, before investigating!

Beautiful pictures. What a gorgeous hike. So cute on the kids all being there to greet you. It's always nice to know you were missed. Have a great breffis with Anthony and good luck with the car servicing.

I always love your pictures! Love the kitty welcome committee!!! Shasta usually greets me at the door with the same way Mannie greeted you. "Where have you been? I'm dying of starvation. Feed me NOW!" Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

I love the pictures. That's so neat you have sand dunes. That's sweet on the kitties greeting you when you got home. I hope you had a good breakfast with your son and a good visit with your friend.

Hi Michelle,
Yup, you had RAIN!! Fantastic pics taken in the rain. And the dunes are so lovely. Interesting that the only "critters" you saw were 2 beetles!

Glad you had a fine day today. Mine was challenging. I'm about to veg out. See you tomorrow.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

As always, such incredibly beautiful photos!! Those bluffs are amazing, and the drive getting there also looks spectacular!

Raw beauty in those pictures! Hope you had a very nice social day - we all need a few of those now and again. Nothing like kitties waiting at the door :-D :-D

I bet Lola and Bug had some adventure today visiting all the pizza parlors. Can't wait to hear all about it today. Beautiful pics of both places. Thar was some day on the road and sounds like it was enjoyable in spite of the rain. That is so cute with the kitters greeting you when you came home, sure brings up memories of Mannie.
Hope you enjoyed your fun breffifs and social day. Ugh on the car stuff. I have to get mine checked, too.
Have a great evening, Michelle.

Hi Everyone! I had typed this whole wonderful response and just lost the whole darn thing! ARRGGHHH!!!!!!! and heavy sigh..... :YMSIGH: I survived my social day. PHEW!!! breffis was fun with my DS. We always have such a good time. it's great to hear what's up with him, what's new. He's doing great, and that is good news. I survived my service apt for my car. I did find out that there is a recall notice on it: an airbags issue. again. This is about the fourth time they have recalled this car for an airbag issue. Get it together Honda! I love my car - its a great car: a 2001 Civic and I still get 30/32/35 mpg. Now if they could just fix the airbag issues. Finally fix. Seattle was great too. I t was nice to head into the "Big City" to see friends. YaHOO! I survived my social day.
