I hope Gordy gives you a nicer number when you get home today. Good luck with the new supervisor!

PMPS 401

No luck with this number.

Not only that, but he didn't eat all day!!! And then nibbled at his dinner. I broke out some Tiki and he ate some.

Of course he peed right as I was prepping to TFS. Im gonna watch him. He has never shown signs of being ketone-prone, but I want to attempt a test... if I can find the stripes!

Ugghhhh

Must be something in the air. Gizmo was slow to eat all day and didn't eat his YA o_O

Then after tfs (which he ate pretty good) he poo'ed underneath the bed. Right snack in the middle and had a tiny bit of loose. And boy did it stink. Whew. So I had to crawl/scooch to reach it and clean . Not sure what that was all about but hope it doesn't continue. I may sprinkle a bit of probiotic on his +2.5.

I hope Gordy feels better soon. :bighug:

I went to the store, got new strips and some dry black eye peas. (I dont remember who suggested them in some other thread I read , but awesome idea.) Broke and cleaned spare box.

Gordy peed in it shortly after. Ketones were trace. Im gonna rinse the peas and see if I can keep testing.

He also could just be working on a hairball... he doesn't eat when he has one brewing. He doesn't necessarily seem sick... just off.

Ok, he threw up again. It looked painful.

But then he came out of my room in search of food and then started eating the dry I left out for him with eagerness? Hopefully it stays down *fingers crossed*

(I have a gnat infestation again  so the wet food can't stay down too long.)

I am really trying not to freak out... he just threw up again.

I am researching 24 hour vets, but I don't want to go to one unless necessary =/

My new vet opens at 7am. If Gordy is not eating by morning, I will be calling them as soon as they open.

I have appetite stimulants and the nausea meds, but I don't think they'll help since he is puking. The only thing I can think of is the sucralfate I got when they stop eating last month. It helps coat the stomach lining. But pilling him seems daunting. :blackeye:

I hope his tummy feels better in the morning. I'll keep monitoring him since he got no food with this insulin.... ughh. :nailbiting:
