This morning he ate the Weruva with unmatched enthusiasm. We'll see how he is really feeling if he eats his snacks ok.

He hasn't had the antibiotic yet... i tossed it into pockets and rolled it in juice from the Weruva... but he wasn't convinces. I just set them in his 1st spin.

BTB for a bit.

Hope he will eat better for you today. The clavamox is bitter tasting and I am sure that is why he is rejecting it. Have you tried smashing it up and putting it into his food? That is what I have done with it in the past. To make sure that he gets it all maybe just put it into a small amount of his food and when he finishes that, give him the rest of the food.

I hope your interview went well.

I think putting it in his food caused this whole debacle in the first place:( i am hoping he'll just eat the pocket so i dont have to worry.

Snack spins in 1 minute.

He ate all the shreds from the Weruva and left the FF and pockets. *sigh* at least the food isnt going to waste since Rex is finishing the FF.

IDK why, but Gordy is really stressing me out!!!

He is refusing his ABs in any form I do it now. I will have to call the vet tomorrow and see if there is another option available. The pills are large and he is already stressed from everything, I dont want to fight him to pill him. *sigh* and all the food changes have given him a teeny bit of blood in his stool. (I am monitoring that... he never buries, so I'll see if it continues.)

I did do the increase. I hope it was a good call, because I didn't get any advice on it =(

Have you ever tried a pill gun?

I have one, but have never used it.

The thought of prying Gordys big jaw open enough by myself is... very hard.
You might find it surprisingly easy to use. My hands are next to useless and I can manage one of these. Palm of hand over top of kitty's head/eyes, insert thumb and index finger into corners of mouth (from above) to pry open. Hold pill gun in the other hand, put pill end near the back of the tongue and push the plunger. Hold his mouth closed and stroke his throat to encourage swallowing.
