Nice job getting back to the greens Davidson. :D Try to say away from those yellows please.

Well, in spite of my optimism and Davidson's good results last week, it appears he does not like this dose at this time (2.25) so after 4 days I am thinking of a dosecrease back to 2.5 and make him earn a decrease again - this time by going below 40

Do many of you agree?? Comments are always welcome and apprecaIATED.

** On another note, I have no idea where the person I helped yesterday is with her cat..........she's not made an introduction profile on any of the forums here at FDMB that I can see, nor has she contacted me with the test results from last night or today. It's too bad, as she told my her kittie was hypo (unconscious one night) and with a BG of 493 and only 2.5u of caninsulin I'm not sure that dose was correct.

We all know how frustrating, stressful and overwhelming it is looking after a FD kittie, and as much as we all love out kitties it's also up to us to seek all the help we can........and that's HERE. It's a PITA when those who have to work and can't test, but even 3 tests is better then one..............hopefully the kittie will be okay and for all those going thru tough times with this - hang in there, it really does get easier and routine! BTW - even the second time around isn't a walk in the park!

FWIW, I like your plan. That's exactly what I would do given the circumstances and your ability/availability to monitor. :)

Thanks Jill! It's "worth" a wealth of information, especially when any info comes from those highly educated and experienced (far more then myself) here as this is not about me, but about Davidson. He's doing very well, but stuck coasting along for a bit so perhaps this is his "happy place" and the 2.5u works for him............I'm always open to try and appreciate all the feedback I can get.............we're all here for the same reasons.

I'll do the dosecrease Wed. morning as it's golf day tomorrow and I have to collect my "hole in one" plaque...........knowing Davidson will drop I want to be here so will start him Wed............I think that will be okay, as don't want to assume he'll coast nicely while I'm gone.
