Chase's favorite color is no longer green. :(

I've started giving him Miralax, 1/8 tsp in the AM and PM 1st meals. I think it's starting to help, but I also think that with as much food as he eats, he should be having more BMs. I do liquify his food now, mostly because that's the only way I can get Miralax into him. And it has always been his favorite way to eat wet food. Although, I was trying to get away from it more because it's easier to split up his food when I don't liquify it, but for now I will just do it to make it easier to get Miralax into him. The reason I liquify it all is because the only way the NutriBullet works right, for wet cat food, is to have 2 cans in it (he has 2 cans in the first half of his day and 2 cans in the 2nd half of his day). Otherwise it doesn't liqufy the way he likes it. It's all about consistency, for him.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday. Operation "Sandi Moves Home" is on. I have so much to do in such little time and work is FULL time, so I'm pretty overwhelmed. I'll be so glad when it's over. Something really good about this place is that it has ALL tile floors, which I think will help with Chase's skin issues. Plus... he loves laying on a cool floor. Well... he's gonna have that everywhere now, with the exception of under the kitchen table, which is where I'll put a big rug. :cat:

Have you tried Slippery Elm Bark along with probiotics and a digestive enzyme?
I order the SEB online from Mountain Rose Herbs in Oregon, the probiotic I buy from Walmart its Renew Life Ultimate Flora 15 billion live cultures per capsule and Mr. Good Pet Feline digestive enzymes I buy online.
Fritz is on a raw diet and use to have horrible issues with constipation no constipation since I stated these. You can do this with canned food too.
Once or twice a day I warm the water mix 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of the SEB and a pinch (very small amount of the enzyme) mix in his food. If kitty won't eat it sprinkle Bonita flakes or I crush freeze dried salmon (strong smell) Fritz loves it. I give Fritz 1 capsule sprinkled on his AMPS meal. You should first start out with 1/2 the capsule or less to start and work up the the whole capsule.

Hey Deb... thank you for sharing. I want to get Chase eating raw at some point. He has horrible skin allergies and I feel it's from his food. Fancy Feast had been the nly thing I can really afford. I am getting ready to move to a different city and start a new job, so I'm not going to make any other changes. A move is always hard on pets. But I will keep this in mind for down the road.

Yes a move is hard on pets and us too:) good luck with the move hope things go smoothly. Wow lots of change going on:bighug::bighug:
When and if you decide to feed raw it really isn't that much more than canned. You can add the above supplements to the canned food too.;)
I see you are in AZ we winter there! Stay cool you guys have been hit hard with heat. not sure if you are somewhere a bit cooler if you can say anywhere in Az is cool in the summer:cool:
