What lower phosphate foods would you recommend for older cats to keep an eye on kidney?

Please remember[ cat foods are also on that list of short supply. The last two times I went to Petco, I had sorta list to try. Spent almost two hours combing through what they had and came home with 3 tiny cans to try. Last week they were out of Dr. Ansley kibble for my civvie. [chewy had that]

anyway stop by Melissa. Cali and I have not seen you in a while. Hope all is well and you are successfully negotiating with your talking 2 yo?
 
You could look on tanyascrf food list. Low phosphorus that are also low carb are tough to find and I bet worse since supply issues. I’m out of the loop with it as I feed raw.
 
Weruva have a large variety of flavors and textures that are both low carb and low phosphorus. They put their nutritional information on their website - including carbs on a dry matter basis and % calories from carbs.

bhooma, you read my mind. Just asked DH to help +2 test, opened the iPad and saw your post. I still bewildered at Levemir curves. The seem like a two humpback camel, up and down.
I didn’t even know she had bounced. Cali is pleased with herself though

Guessing when I need to do next test? Two Socks is guessing when I am going to put him night night with a snack. He thinks Cali gets all the attention!
 
Her onset is after +2, so we don't know yet whether she will head lower or higher. I asked for the +2 to ensure she isn't still dropping. With Levemir, nadirs can be as late as +14. Is it bed time? If you are going to be up a while, get a +3, otherwise, get a +5? Feed before bed?
