He's out of surgery and starting to wake up. They removed one tooth with the roots. He's got a suture that will dissolve. I've got bup at home so he'll be getting that 2x a day plus the clav.
He's got another tooth that has the root exposed and needs to come out. The vet said it needs a specialist to take it out to make sure the jaw doesn't fracture as it's into the jaw bone. I'll be in CA for a couple of weeks and will need to bring him to the specialist when I get back. Poor guy. Also has several early lesions that they will check at his next dental which they said should be in a year.
On the happy side he's recovering well and both his and Xena's blood work looks great! They have had early kd for a while but Talbot's creatine has even slightly improved from his last test last August and Xena's looks great.
