Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday we had an exciting EARTHQUAKE in the afternoon (centered north of Ottawa, but felt strongly here: the house shook!)
Last night we had an apparent test-strip failure--also exciting, certainly not welcome!! This morning it seems we have a bounce of sorts, but nothing out of the ordinary for Mr. Cat. The weather: very humid, rainy, thunderstorms expected, air so thick you could cut it with a knife. Stu went out briefly, but decided that his chair on my cure porch was a better place to spend the morning than sitting under the car, waiting for "Chip-chip" to show himself. Litterbox has received its contributions. 2 installments of breakfast have been eaten. I think we'll wait and do a +3 today: the ears got a work-out last night and they are sensitive. Today is a good day to aestivate and I believe I'll do just that!!

The earth moved! Some folks felt that down here near Pittsburgh! Glad everyone is OK in Stuland.

I'm glad the earthquake didn't do any damage at your house. Looks like a save-a-strip day for Stu and maybe some rest for momma bean. The porch does sound better than under the car - I'm glad he figured that out.

Glad there's no damage to humans, felines, or homes from that 'quake. Stu's got a good head on his shoulders (do cats have shoulders?!): a porch beats underneath a car every time. :-D

EARTHQUAKE!!! I heard about it!!! Thunder, rain!! No wonder Stu is up a bit!!
Hope he comes down today--Crystal Ball Says YES~!! HUGS! :mrgreen:

Hi again, I thought I might have given a fur shot this morning (but I didn't smell Lantus). So far Stu's numbers haven't moved at all. I thought, since I was having test-strip issues yesterday and several days ago, that I would check the strips and meter on myself, so I tested and got 81. Therefore I guess today's numbers represent either a fur shot or Stu himself!!! So we'll see where he is later this afternoon. I'm not going to test again until +9 or +10. There's no reason to do so. Off now to do shopping. See you all later,

There has been a lot going on for Stu. One off day isn't the end of the world, I keep telling myself that.

I've lived in CA for 13 years now and never felt a quake!

Here at least, I did feel one when I was a kid in ILL. Everyone thought I was nuts until it was on the news that night. :lol:

Yep, we know only too well about those flat yellows. And this is the flattest yellow I've ever seen with Stu! Today is day 27 of the Lantus cartridge, so I will go to the pharmacy tomorrow to get another (my Kinney's Drugs sells them separately). That way I'll be prepared if it is the cartridge that might be the culprit.
Stu enjoyed a dinner of EVO 95% venison this evening. He hasn't had it in a while because he had seemed to tire of it. Tonight he gobbled it up! Everyone have a good evening.

Hey Stu Man!! You look like a sun beam in all that yellow!! Ya need some blue like the sky!! Yellow leads to blue-maybe tomorrow?
