6/24 siujim amps (401) +6 (347) pmps (396)
pls help as all of a sudden, her BG jumps high.
for those who haven't followed siujim case.
she was diagnoised diabetes back in dec. keep on raising the dose and yet not able to regulate the BG. so vet suggested a blood test in late may and figures showed she has pancreatitis.
we started feeding her supplements: vit e, coq10, sam-e and Digestive Enzymes since 11st. and her BGs are a lot better (210-300) when compared to her previous range (320-400) and highest (400-480).
pls note spreadsheet for the past 7-8 days' BGs.
may i ask what should i do?
i am thinking to ask the vet whether we should start all over again from 1.5 unit (the dose which she was normal for 10 days)...
or go on observing her (as generally speaking she is better, regaining weight, less vomiting)?
these two days, i realize she moves a lot and seems like she wants to find a pose that she feels better. i am not sure if she is in pain. i pressed her chest/belly and she didn't hide or yell, and she eats normally, purrs, cleans herself after food...
i know pancreatitis may cause pain, so i am not sure...
thanks
