6/23 Shasta

WCR: Some Ps in place. 8 hours later, we are back home and in our own space. Shasta is back on her perch and in her "good" carrier (the one I don't use for long distance trips) and showing me how much she really didn't appreciate having to stay at that other house and sit in the car for 8 hours. She did get sick to her tummy about 30 minutes outside of P'cola, but I kind of expected that...she was licking her lips from the moment we started the drive...at 6:30am (CDT)/7:30 (EDT)...trying to avoid several thunderstorms. Anyways, we're happy to be home, but I'm missing those kittens already.

OT: My sister is super worried about the new kittens...both kittens still have the runs and little girl is still a bit lethargic. They are both eating, but still so tiny and not getting better in the hiney area. She's supposed to call the vet back on Friday to let him know their conditions, but I don't think she will be able to wait until then if their poop hasn't started to firm up some. Poor babies and poor sister. :(

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Glad you're home safely. So's Shasta, I bet.

Vines for the kitties. Years ago I adopted a sickly little girl, about six weeks old. Albon and something else from the vet got her back on track within a week or so. Big problem with her, she kept throwing up and refusing to eat. She got to be a big ol' chunk of a tortie girl. Prayers for your sister's wee ones.

Welcome back! I'm sure Shasta is thrilled to be home. Sending prayers for the babies....hopefully just a little time and their bellies will calm down. It seems to be such a common issue with new adoptees...all the changes must be scary for them.
