Sammy did come down quite a bit from the 235 at PMBG last night. I am not quite ready to call it a Trial, but we will see how today goes. I didn't expect him to come down within 1 or 2 cycles, but he is definitely making progress. If he continues to slowly drop back into the normal numbers I will be extremely happy.

He still isn't eating that wonderfully this morning, I think he is bored with the food. I gave him some Fancy Feast last night and he pretty much gobbled it down. I will probably leave out Fancy Feast for the snacks today as well. He woke me up quite a few times last night complaining about the the snacks that were available.

Another busy day for me. I have been getting up at 4:30 am an hour before Sammy's AMPS so that I can get in a workout before having to take care of Sammy's stuff. Getting up so early makes me want to go to bed by 8:30 - 9:00 pm, which doesn't leave a lot of time after work for anything. This weekend I am really going to need to do some cooking so that we have easy dinners and lunches for the week.

Today is Day 3 of the new job, and so far I love it. The best part about it so far are the people. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. I have been doing a lot of training and troubleshooting with the IT people, but so far I love the atmosphere in the office, which is always a really good thing.

Have an awesome day every one.

I'm glad you like your new job. I'd work out after work even though I'm up at 5(don't need to be until 6) I don't want to work out until at least 9! I hope you start a trial soon. Fingers and paws crossed.

Sammy is doing well, without insulin. He was down to 114 at test time tonight. I am still not sure I will call this a trial yet. I am going to give it another full day to make sure he says down, but then the question is do we the say we are on Day 4 of the Trial at that point or do we start at day one?

If he were mine I wouldn't get hung up on what day of the trial it is. Either he will stay in the normal range or he won't. Look how long it tool Amy to call Trixie OTJ. I would just get BG readings twice a day until I felt confident he was OTJ and knowing me I would continue to check awhile after that. That's just my opinion FWIW.

Sammy, I hope you continue to stay normal. :):D

Thanks, more than likely, even if we make it through a trial, I will test at least once a day forever. Maybe skipping a day here or a day there, if my schedule is crazy, but I think the earlier a high BG can be caught the easier it will be to get back to normal. I hope he is able to hold his own without the insulin, it will ease so much stress in my life.

I'm glad Sammy came back down for you today Tina. And finishing up with a number in the normal range tonight too - that's lovely to see! :D
