Punkin's last condo 6/11
Top of the morning, Lantus Land!
Just thought we'd check in today. Punkin is snoozing in his little bed in front of me, happily purring away. anya has found a new fav spot in the house - a friend gave us an old cat tree that needs some cosmetic repairs, but anya doesn't mind about that at all and has claimed the top round as her perch. she's up there 90% of the day now.
For whatever reason, punkin has been on the express train up with his insulin dose for a couple of months now. he was on 6.5 on may 1st and now is at 8.25. DH and i were talking this morning about how it seems like the tumor has revived or something. he's also back to bouncing. ohmygod_smile fortunately, punkin doesn't know the difference in his dose, so like always, we march on and try to stay focused on just getting his numbers down again. i keep using R to try to flatten him out.
and yes, he made it in the Clean Plate Club this morning and made sure Anya got there as well. *whew*
i've entered summer vacation mode - wahoo and yippee! now if only someone would tell mother nature that summer should show up at some point in western oregon, all would be perfect. the kids are all off doing their summer things, leaving us with an empty nest. another wahoo and yippee! love the kids, also love it when they go off on their own. :lol:
