Beautiful Sunday's condo

So, I trundled my weary bones off to bed and passed out at 10:30 with an alarm set for +6 and AMPS time. I don't even remember turning the light off and the next thing I knew, Nikki was beating me about the head to get me up. :oops: Apparently I turned both alarms off and don't even remember doing it. :shock: Guess I needed some sleep? :? Thankfully Nikki was hungry this morning and used me as a punching bag until I woke up about 10 minutes past when I should have... :roll:

At any rate, a lovely party was had yesterday, although my friend's future MIL is a piece of work...Drama was kept to the minimum and we survived our bridesmaidly duties, so a big success! :-D

My petsitter is coming by tonight to learn how to hometest so that I can go away for the 4th. Hopefully Nikki will remember her manners! :lol:

Thanks to all who stopped by yesterday and hopefully I won't sleep through my alarms tonight!

Getting up at night is, by far, the hardest for me. I can do it most times, but once you're exhausted, it ain't gonna happen. There's only so much your body can take.

I have adjusted much better than I thought I would. I have a dual alarm clock, so that helps. :thumbup

Lucian wakes me a couple times a night anyway, but sometimes I am just not coherent enough to test. I manage to throw some food on a plate and fall back in bed. :lol:

In the last few weeks, Lucian has changed his method of waking me from meowing to scratching the door, fast and furious! :o It is very startling and scares me out of bed. Don't like that at all and he usually gets hollered at. :lol: He used to do that, many years ago, when he wanted out and the door was closed. The doors are never closed and I don't know why he's started doing it. He can wake me with a meow just as easily without scaring the pi$$ out of me. :o :lol: I'm not a heavy sleeper, haven't been for years. If he meows once or twice, I'm up, at least enough to feed him. :-D

I've always been a SUPER heavy sleeper. A bomb could go off and I generally wouldn't hear it. And people think I'm nuts now that I get up in the middle of the night. :YMSIGH: I have 2 alarms, but I've been doing ok with waking up lately so I got lazy and didn't set the 2nd one...It's a good thing Nikki was hungry this morning! :lol:

As for Lucian, tell him I said to stop scratching the door! His momma bean needs sleep! :evil:

Either a flat day or she's bouncing again. Determined to get that +6 tonight.

The petsitters were just here and watched my night-time routine. Nervous about having to be away! nailbite_smile
