Yesterday http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=73699&p=799578#p799578 Neko started out with her lowest preshot number yet. Where she went after that was a mystery because I had to leave food out and go to a birthday party. Thanks so much to all who visited yesterday with words of comfort. Now that I've I had to leave my own baby cat under those conditions, I appreciate all the more those who work away from home every day who must worry/wonder how their cat is doing. In response to whatever Neko did during the day, she seemed to be flat pink at night.
It is now cycle 15 at this dose, and it still seems to be having good effect on Neko. Time will tell whether this is the one but it does seem to be settling her swings somewhat and still producing some action. Neko has 4 of her P's this morning. The pee is a mystery, but she's a one a dayer usually and does do some yard patrols so she could be using the larger LB outside. It does make it harder to do ketone checks.
I had a chat with a rower friend after today's paddle. She is a diabetic, on Lantus once a day with R at meals. She is taking 18 units during rowing season and 20 during the winter. Interesting because she is probably 10 times Neko's weight but Neko is now on 7 units twice a day.
