Yesterday, probably lagoon touch down, then bounce.

6/23 Recap:
AMPS 105 +5 137 +7.5 103
PMPS 114 +4 269 +9 173

Neko is getting really fond of her yogurt (and Azodyl) snack. This morning in the kitchen she was whining away, and DH asked "is she really low?". Nope, at 173 and whining for yogurt. We have created a monster. If it isn't improving her b/w and I decide to discontinue, it'll be a hard sell. :p

I just got a phone call - my car is ready for pickup. :) But it's going to cost me about what I paid for Neko's dental. Yup, if it's not the cats, it's the car.

We have created a monster
I completely understand that. A few years ago I started giving Tennie and his brother pumpkin to help with their hairballs. They both got so obsessed with the pumpkin they would both wake me up in the middle of the night trying to get more! I ended up getting them off the pumpkin for a few years but now they are back on it to help with digestion.

It's funny how quickly our kitties can get used to something they like and expect it. I'm glad your car is ready so soon. Sorry about the cost.

I love my yogurt, too, Neko.
Tillie

Anne read that 2 orcas were spotted in Coal Harbor! Yay for the car, expense for the cost.
Liz

So cool when you can give them meds in a way they love :) but if you do stop the med I'm sure Neko will say that doesn't mean you need to stop the yoghurt :cat:

Great slide from +10 until AMPS! ...She's got you trained alright!!:p Glad your car is back to running again, anti-jinx, hopefully in time for DH's regatta?

Hey Neko, I gonna try to get my bean trained so I'z can get me some yogurt too Hee Hee! ~ Tiger :cat:

I can picture little Neko whining for her yogurt. She wants what she wants when she wants it :cat:

I`m glad your car is ready, but the not about the expense. I know exactly what you`re talking about, if it`s not the cats, it`s something else.

Hahaha, that's why Noodle gets Fortiflora every day... even when I could have stopped it, she sat and stared at the box so sadly for so long I couldn't say no. Hope your car pickup goes smoothly!

Glad you got your car fixed. Been there done that. They say we don't own the cat they own us I guess in this case they are right . They sure have got us trained. Toby just woke me up for a snack.

Neko has been keen to get out a couple of times today. When we finally got home with my car, she darted out as soon as DH opened the door. That's always a bit worrisome, because Mr. Untrustworthy Theo is usually on her tail. Fortunately not this time cause Neko was really scampering. :)

Andrea, Rhiannon, Carla, Liz, Serryn, Ruth, Lori, Patricia, Peg, Marilyn - Thanks for stopping in. Neko really loves dairy but only used to get it occasionally as a treat. One of her all time favs was licking the bottom of the bowl when we had ice cream. That's a no go now since it's too sweet, but she still hangs around when those bowls are out. She does like pumpkin too, hangs around if I'm making pumpkins scones, for her share of pumpkin and butter. I am such a softie! The car is mostly fixed, but working. They "found" a couple of other things needing fixing, but I'm going to take it to my regular service place who saw the car two months ago. I only went where I did because that's where the car died. I asked them to take a look at engine overheating, and they tell me I need a new wiper blade. Nice try fellows! I have a spare at home.
@Anne & Zener (GA) - Second time this year a pod of killer whales has been seen in the Vancouver harbour. Earlier this year one was seen in the cove where we row, but just after we got off the water. A couple of years ago I saw whales spouting in Indian Arm at an early morning row.:cool:

How wonderful to see those whales. They are just beautiful creatures. We have whales go up our coastline at this time of year to give birth in the coves along the Queensland coastline. Then they come back down on their way to the antartic. They often come into Sydney Harbour and come very close to the shore.

Glad you got your car sorted, funny how they always find something else that needs fixing. What type of yogurt are you using, apart from O% sugar, and what are the benefits for cats, apart from hiding meds? Notice a few of you give yogurt but not sure why.
