@SingsToCats and @Wendy&Neko , thank you so much for your reply on upping his dose by .25; I'll be home all day Saturday (to watch, and test him); should I wait, and start it then; or do you think it would be ok to do it for his evening shot tonight, even though i'll be asleep and won't be able to watch him?
His needles are marked in half increments, 0.3mL (31 guage [8mm]), for use with U-100 insulin (I get them from Walgreens with his Lantus) - so i think i'll have to eyeball, the dose sort of between the half mark.
Ohh, I wasn't sure if everyone else is doing this to but, the manufacturer has a coupon, and you can get the Lantus for 99$ a bottle; Its been a blessing in the affordability department. I can pass on the info if any one wants it. The vet you use will just have to call it into an actual pharmacy, like a CVS or Walgreens (wink, nudge) LOL
