Another fabulous day in Mannie-land. Breffis #1 and #2 consumed with relish, all P's accounted for, even a few whaps at the civvies. For the moment he is content to stare out the door, knowing soon enough it will open and he can go for his morning perimeter patrol and a little grass roll rub and chew. In the meantime, a little morning nap is in order.

Mannie will be on his own for most of the morning through early afternoon, as I am going hiking today, up to Wallace Falls and Wallace Lake. With a 280 start, food in the feeder, he should be just fine. I hope to be able to visit condos later today.

WCR: With warmer days here the past few it is difficult to keep him indoors - he just loves being outside - I am grateful he never goes far, and is almost always within sight. I am sure today will be no exception, even though he will be stuck indoor until I return.

Well, the pink isn't welcome but you know you can leave and not worry. (It's what I tell myself when Gabby does that.)

Not to worry: 302 at +2 is practically the same as 280. Hey Michelle, have a terrific hike today. I wish I could get out, too, but it's pouring rain.

I hope you have a great time hiking today. And look, Mannie gave you a pink numbers so you wouldn't worry. He'll just wait until you get home and then surprise you.

Hi Guys - and THANKS! Yep - definite go hike and don't worry numbers, and I come home to a 282.... see: no worries!

I suspect though that Mannie and Stu went surfin' anyways - there was that tell tale evidence and that "i didn't do anything" look... hmmmmmm - shad-o too, maybe? Sorry for the rain Ella - bummer! and no more bad test strips - shesshhh i hate that. freaks you out, and then you realize after too many omg's that the strip was bad.

Hike was great guys - thanks! 15 miles today, 2673 feet cumulative gain, and phew - tired. The falls that I hiked to are spectacular - over 1500 feet down - three tiers to them. Just absolutely gorgeous. I also went to the lake that feeds these falls, found many young trout. Awfully nice day, and made it back in time for pmps.....

thanks everyone for visiting Mannie today while i was gone. (Stu - that means you too! surf away dude!). now I need to try and get caught up, and visit a few condos....

233 @ +2... YAY! also looks like we may get a little action tonight. Go Mannie! Figures - on a night after a day of hiking when his mama bean is dead tired.... That's OK Mannie - I LOVE the lower numbers!! And GO GO GO!!! cat_pet_icon

Coming down there Mannie!! Boy, I need some woods & falls!! All I have is miles of beach, ocean, & boardwalk...
No big trees or forest here--Ella is about 5 hrs away at least..Oh well, I can dream, cant I??

Hey Roni! I love oceans and boardwalks! but i have to admit - my absolute fav place to be is alpine: as high in the mtns as i can get to without doing myself in - with the lakes and the rivers and to die for views... awfully fine. I would love to see Ella's area - it sounds just as nice....
