Yesterday was another excellent day for the Nanner King. :cool: We started out pink (BLECH!): poss\ibly a mini bounce from his drop in the morning cycle the day before. Mannie ended up with a really nice low level blue surf for the remainder of the AM cycle. WOOT!!! The Blue Mannie Group was able to celebrate such a feat with a LIVE performance yesterday, on Rusty's porches.... awesome. :-D It is so great to see these blues surfs. Loved the green for pmps. Well done Mannie! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon Now about that amps....

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D What rainy dreary miserable day yesterday in the PNW. Mannie decided it wasn't worth getting wet just for a few outdoor route inspections, so off to the nanner pile for him. :lol: :lol: :cool: That is where he spent most of he day. Somehow these kitties have the right idea! He seems to be back on rack too with his fuds - eating just about everything. I still have not tried the Wellness again. We will give him a few days before trying to reintroduce it. I hope he will still eat it, as I have a couple of cases... :shock: Today, once again, we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and again at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone! I hope to go hiking today - we shall see how things pan out with Mannie before deciding. Mannie? Can I? Please?

Hey everybody! You guys wanna paddle today? It was so fun the last time we went, and well... why not? We could pack a picnic lunch and stuff, find a nice shore where we could have lunch, and maybe do some swimming! Just like Rusty's beans. What'd'ya think? let me know - I am ready for anything! ~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, what a nice day and pm cycle for Mannie yesterday. On the Wellness, I know Mags will only eat the more chunky consistency for some reason. I had a few cans from Petco and she only ate the topping of them, as they were too mushy. I know their taste buds are so strange sometimes, and we always aim to please. :-D The Wellness I order from wag.com always have the chunky consistency which she loves.
Have a great hike and Mannie, good boy for giving your Bean permission.

Yay, a paddle sounds like fun, and I can work on my tan. We'll find a nice shore and have a picnic. I'll bring some turkey dogs to grill and won't forget the catnip sauce. See ya at the curb, Mags

Hey, Michelle - I just love that you include how many cycles for this dose - love all of those greens, too! :smile:

These same kitties that scavenge and eat the inedible, then turn their noses up at real food. Go figure. Hershey eats Wellness, but not Oreo. My kitties were raised on kibble and only given a little wet at bedtime as a treat. When we put Hershey on all canned, we left Oreo on about half and half, just to finish up the kibble. He started not eating the kibble meals and would wait for the Wellness meals. When we moved him to all Wellness canned, he stopped eating. :o At this point, he'll only eat Friskies Pate' varieties and only if the wind is blowing in the right direction! :roll:

I hope you enjoyed your hike. Must be cooler there than here, but I sure don't want to go hiking in this heat!

I'd love to go paddling today with you and Maggie, although I don't need to work on my tan! :lol: :lol: I'll bring some fud, but don't know what, yet. 300 @ PMPS. well - guess I didn't have to worry about him while I was gone. :roll: At least there was a yellow at +11. I hope maybe he can bring this PMPS back down - I Linda liked all that blue! :-D

I did get out for a hike - to Icicle Gorge over by Leavenworth, part of the Alpine Wilderness Area. WOW - impressive views! I also managed to get caught in another down pour for about 30 minutes, and was grateful I had packed the rain gear. :? If anyone wants to see photos, here's the FB link: Icicle Gorge. I will posit photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow. It was a great hike, I did about 6 miles, and saw some incredible scenery! Thanks Mannie for giving me a permission slip. :-D

Hi Amy - he was! What a nice kitty! The hike was so great - loved every minute of it.

Hi Ann and Maggie - Yesterday was so nice - a gradual descend, a "Zener cycle" right into the greens. :cool: Oh yes on the Wellness and their taste buds. I will give it another try with him and see what appends. For now he s content with his FF, and it hasn't made much difference in his BG's. And thanks - Mannie came through, and I had a wonderful time. It is so gorgeous there.

Hi Anne - yupp - I thought so too, though I have to admit I had hoped it would just be yellow. I told him no drama, I guess this is his version of no drama. :lol: :lol:

Hi Libby - yeah on the cycles, I started doing that when I couldn't remember how many, and got tired of counting. :lol: :lol: He's been on this one such a long time - has good days with, some bad. Just when I'm about to chnage it he gets things in gear. go figure! Mannie is known as the Nanner King due to his marked preference for the Yeowzi Catnip toys that look lie bananas, They call them nanners. I bought him some once - well one for all the civvies, and he confiscated them all - would not share - still won't to this day. He was then dubbed the nanner king after that. he sleeps on them, moves them, loves them to pieces. :lol: :lol: I love the food things our kitties out us through. :shock: I see your do the same. :roll: Thanks on the hike -it was great. The area was maybe 50? not sure. The closest town was 70, but it was much cooler in the mountains.

Hershey! uhhhhhhh..... I is he nanner King cuz I eat live sleep breathe nanners... they is so cool! I will share one with you if you want. You gots to try them! Great that you got in your hike today. It sounds like a beautiful one, even with the rainy episode.

Hi Ella - oh HAHA on the textbook - at least for tonight's start he did. :lol: Me to on the hike - I was glad I went, even with the rain squall... it was so gorgeous there! This is what I have heard too on the kitty paddle - Mannie is also very tired. Good for them! A calipers discussion? I will have to read that.

Hi Barb - I did! Well yes on the drier part, but it, the wet, didn't last too long so all is good.

Icicle Gorge is so breath taking. I could see getting lost in there and never wanting to leave, even during a rain storm.
We're hoping Mr. Mannie make a nice, slow, slide during the evening and you wake up to lovely AMPS. No pink tomorrow!

Mannie, I have a vetty visit Friday but I know they have those nanners there. I think I need to send some subliminal messages my bean to pick me up one...Oh, I suppose Pebs deserves one too.. Even though she doesn't have to go to that horrible place! Paddling sounds like fun, hope you had a good day! ~Munch

Hi Reagan - yupp- Icicle Gorge is beautiful - anything in the Alpine Wilderness, near the Enchantments here is - stunning!! I think you are right on Mannie - it is so far a slow slide, so I really hope to wake up to a good PS number. paws crossed! Good luck with Munch tonight - I hope the surf sets yup early, that it won't be too late into the evening.

Mannie, I'd love the help! I don't want to risk leaving without one (errr....two.) Especially since I loath that place. Hm... I better not chomp on anyone while I'm there either. That could spell disaster for the Nanner mission.
Thx for the invite, I'd love to come hang gliding tomorrow and paddling next time! I've never done either. Looking forward to it! ~Munch
