Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (lots!, it's the start of another week....), and Happy Monday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! What a party last night! I so LUV Full Moon parties! Rusty's menu was da-bomb and the kitchen krew did outstanding. Lola has a new friend - she a Emma really hit it off. I could see them jumping in and on and through all the trees. with lots of tree climbing! :shock: Bug says Rusty is mega cool and wants to learn some basic grillin'. He's thinking grilled pizzas. HUH? :shock: And me? Back to my barista job! I LUVS it! so. well. anyways. onwards! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) time! IT'S CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. .... OH! No worries, a dollop of cherry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... good!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was low keyed, relaxing and just nice. I did spend some time on my usual woods to the shore hike. Did that yesterday day again too. I went early in the morning, to avoid the crowds,and to hopefully bear out the pending rains. I was successful on both counts. The tide was out again yesterday morning, so I spent some time expiring the rock formations that would normally be under water. Sure are some amazing critters there. I was lucky too to see a harbor seal while on my walk. He was perched on a boulder. That was fun,of course the closer I got the more he knew he'd had enough of me and slid into the water. I had a great time out. Per the norm I took photos, so once again here is Meadowdale.

The rest of the weekend was rather quiet... except for the antics of young kitties. :shock: :lol: Elsa just looks at them like "you have got to be kidding" and heads downstairs to sleep on the bed. I took some more photos of the Three Musketeers last night, What bunch of cuties, crazy, but till cute. There is nothing out of the ordinary nutsville to report today. Normalcy in MusketeerVille. Have a great day everyone! I am off to hike today, and will beheading on out the door as soon as I post. Still trying to decide where to go... one of those "take all planned hikes and see where the car goes" days... and where I can see clear skies. :roll: :lol:

I love the pictures of the three musketeers. You can just tell Lola is a very curious kitty from those pictures. I hope you find a good place to hike today.
 
Morning Michelle, yes the Strawberry Full Moon party was a great and awesome time for the kitties. Mags loved the pizza and said Rusty is Chef Extraordinare with that menu. Mannie taught him well. Thank you Elsa for hosting it, and kitties will be back today to help with cleanup. Emma and Lola are two wild girls! :lol:
Love the pics of the three Muskateers! Lola has a beautiful coat and loves to be up high, I see. They are all beautiful kitties. Love that Elsa's pretty face with all the colors.
Have a great hike. Gread pics of meadlowlake, too. I can see why you love to take shore walks there. Looks so peaceful and not so crowded as other parks perhaps. Have great day, Michelle.
 
Morning everyone! Love the photos Michelle, makes me think I could probably squeeze one more kitty in the house, then I think, NAHHHHHHH .. I like my "old ladies" who only sleep all day :lol:
 
Hey Lil Bit! It's so hot here today, would you please make my cheery cherry an iced drink, with lots of extra ice so it doesn't melt!

And do you know why Maui came home wearing a strawberry hat? It was tasty good, but she wasn't too happy about it. Any ideas? I heard her mumble something about that Ollie....do you know what he did?

And yes, it's ok if you tell us beans.

I'll leave the porch door open for you ok....
 
What a great weekend you had! The pics yesterday were amazing, i'm so used to seeing gray water and sky in them. Wow, on the blues! The fur kids too! You can just see them getting into everything.

Hi everyone. I am finally home. I went to white Bluffs, near Mattawa: our very own sand dunes (!!) :-D It has been a fun, but long day. . Funny how when you haven't been to a place in a while you forget some of the logistics: like 3 hours to get there,and it is out in the middle of no-mans land. so... time to unwind from alot of hours behind the wheel. wet hours. lol.OMG on the drive over to Mattawa today. Nothing but rain all the way there, 3 hours of driving in that slop. LOL! In some areas the wipers could not work fast enough. oh well, as much as I "complain" the mountains and clouds and wet were very pretty. The dam on the Columbia, outside of Vantage, what is it called: wanapum (??) was really nice: lots of water going through that thing. I had rain for the first 30 minutes of the hike, they stopped after that. Lots of clouds, and not much sun, but I knew that when I picked this one. Dunes were great. Always fun to climb ad walk on top of those things. It was fun. No critters this trip, but did see alot of deer tracks - all over, even on top of the dunes. I will post photos in tomorrow's Loose Lips. :-D

HI Carla :-D THX on the kitty photos. I liked this set - it looks just like them. Oh yes on Lola - into EVERYTHING! And I did on tthe hike. Fun times too!

Hi Ann, and Maggie :-D SO I have heard on the full moon party - those kitties know how to party! LOL on Emma and Lola - oh oh comes to mind! :shock: :lol: THX too on the kitties pics. Lola has very stunning markings - she is quite pretty. I like the coloring of Bug, and well Elsa: always a winner. THX on the photos of Meadowdale, and yes - it is less crowded than most, one has to hike in to get there, so not as crowded as some parks, plus it is very peaceful there. THX on the hike - it was fun,. drive was all rain, but the hike was great!

Auntie Hillary! I dunno on the hat! Maybe Ollie thought she liked strawberries???? Hmmmmm I had best check this out. Ollie does have this things for hats.... Hi Ann, and Tess :-D It was a good weekend. things got done and I got to play and chill out some too. perfecto! TX on teh pics: when it is sunny down there the blue is so vibrant, and reflects in the water. it can be so pretty. I hope to go sometime for a sunset or sunrise - those are really great too. Right you are on the furkids, and that they do, especially Lola. Miss Mischief!

I look forward to seeing pictures of sand dunes. I didn't know you had some so close, where close is a relative term. :lol: Blue sky has just started peaking out here, been pretty miserable day so far.

Loved the pics of the three musketeers. Bug is well, cute as a bug. :-D Lola just looks like trouble. She looks so pleased with herself on the kitchen counter. :lol:
 
Hi Wendy - I so know on those dunes. I never knew we had them either until I started exploring eastern Washington more. They are near Mattawa on the Columbia River. it is just the coolest ting to walk along the ridge of one of them. They are huge y any means, but are dunes. kinda cool. Well said n Lola ad Bug. he is sweetie - for sure, loves to cuddle. and Lola, well yes: trouble. :roll: She can be a ral sweetie too when she wants to be. Bug is just even keel all around. Nice that you got sun - we never really did, and today's drive was just well, wet!e
