Well we suspected today would be a weird one and we weren't wrong. We were up stupid early after almost no sleep for an airport run (took advantage of the hour to get a rare PM+10/AM-2 reading: 275 makes sense given AMPS is routinely the highest BG we'll see for her in a day).
After I got back from the airport she was extra squirmy and I was tired and less coordinated than usual for her morning shot. It felt like a good stick but I thought I could smell insulin; reasonable chance we got a furshot.
Our big plans for borrowing a timed feeder for the week fell through so instead I snuck a partially frozen bowl of wet food out while she was upstairs for her after-breakfast nap. It was gone by the time I got home from work so she definitely ate it.. no clue if it was 5 minutes after I left or 5 hours. I think it's the best we can do right now though, so I'll aim to do it for the next 3 days while her WFH parent is away; might go for fully freezing to make it less appetizing until later in the day when she'll really need it.
Got home as soon as I could and recorded a way higher than normal AM+10. There's a chance part of that is stress from being by herself (she gets lonely! and she's used to having a workday companion), but it feels like more evidence for a morning furshot.
On the bright side, she's absolutely acting like herself (reading me the riot act for leaving her alone all day) and LB activity seems totally normal.
