A little late with Zener's condo this morning. He enjoyed a very blue evening. All good with the mighty Z though he seems a little more wobbly today than usual. It's time for an *ahem* anal gland expression visit.
Thanks to everyone who visited Zener's condo yesterday. I'm sorry I didn't have time to respond to each of you. We've been a little busy with cousins visiting, mom plus one teen and one pre-teen, gosh kids wear us out. @-) And they have only been coming over in the evenings for dinner and to hang out for a few hours. Cats, even diabetic ones, are much easier. Tillie is still not happy about the visitors and spent the evening under the bed. At least, she remembered we still lived here, but no outdoor time for her last night just in case she did a runner again.
We also had a little more excitement of the non-FD variety. Liz woke up about 3:30 am and someone was outside our bedroom window! Some guy had come into our backyard through our tall wooden fence and was walking around with what seemed like a flashlight (and the police said later was his cell phone). Liz yelled at him to get out and he mumbled something about his dog then started talking nonsense. I woke up finally but was out of it and then too terrified to be much help. Liz called the police and he left our back yard. Our fence is not easy to open either, and only one side opens, so he had to be pretty strong. Liz thought he may have climbed over the fence, but then she found where he went through the gate this morning. The police arrested him out front of our house, still talking nonsense, for drunk, disorderly and trespassing. Then the officer checked out our yard. Tillie hid much like I was doing. Zener sat in the living room and watched the whole thing, even when the police officer came through our house. Everything was pretty much in place in our yard this morning though there was a rip in Zener's cabana by the gate where he came in. Good grief.
Liz is on a bike ride this morning. Zener is snoozing in the front window and Tillie, well she and I are still nervous. nailbite_smile
