Yes, this dose really seems to be agreeing with Miss Trix. It's still higher than I care for, psychologically speaking, but that's really irrelevant, since she has great BGs on it...finally. Yay, Trixie :mrgreen: :mrgreen: !

The veterinary irresponsibility/hypo situation I ranted about yesterday is still gnawing at me...it should never have happened...but, the good news is the kitty involved is showing some signs in improvement. I know a few LLers have visited the thread on FaceBook and added prayers...it looks like the LL prayers are working for this little guy. More prayers that he continues to improve and can go back home...

I have to work today, so I'll do most of my condo visiting later. Have a great day, LL!

Morning Amy ~O) Nice again for Trixie girl! :mrgreen: I'm hanging onto Maggie's dose also, as she sees some nice enough greens.
Thanks for an update on the kitty involved on FB. I've had kitty and caregiver on my mind, and so glad kitty is doing better. I hipe she finds her way over here for some help and it sounds like she's getting a lot of support on FB. Hope all goes well today at work.

YaHOO! A very nice start for Trixie. I know on the dosing... I felt that way many a times too. The numbers are great, lots of green. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: GOOOOOOOOOOO Trixie.

I had read that thread on the FB FD Group. It struck home with me, as that is exactly the way it was for us too, just as you described in your initial post. We had three hypos, before I finally wised up, and began home testing, after I met someone who was a Board member. it is amazing to me that so many vets just give you the script for the insulin, pick a dose and then say see you in a few weeks. well anywyas - it does sound like that ladies kitty will make it. sure hope so.

I'm just now getting caught up on the weekend's condos ~ so scary about the hypo situation. Brings up so many emotions for me.
Thank goodness for FDMB. I thank my lucky stars every day that I stumbled upon this board.

She is lovin' the greens today. Hopefully she'll surf this...if she wants to go for another reducie, I'm all for it, but I'd rather it be during day....

Yep, I saw those posts today that Baxter is improving. What a relief...still praying here, and I hope they make it over to LL!
