Good Morning Everyone,

I'm a bit late this A.M.: computer problems. Stu seems to be continuing the bounce he started last night, but at +3 came down to blue. It's a rainy, blah day here today. Mr. Cat went outside and immediately crawled under the car to stay out of the rain while he watched for the chipmunk. Last night he ate most of the food in his automat; and the litterbox (inside one) had received its contribution by this morning. He's not super hungry this morning: I didn't put out his favorite food, just his second favorite, and I think he's telling me that (but that's what he's getting until he finishes the can!).
So we'll see what happens today. I think it will be a save-an-ear/save-a-strip day. For DH and me, it will be a day of catching up on chores. I was supposed to go with some friends to climb a small mountain, but the weather isn't cooperating. (We go for the view and not just for the exercise!)

p.s. forgot to say that there was a nice hairball with it's attendant grass on the couch this A.M.

Latte would like to invite stu over for catnip tea this later today, if that is okay! Our plant has grown into a bush, so we have an abundance! She thought maybe the topic of discussion could be how to properly bounce??? (ok, that was actually MY suggestion! :lol: ). Its raining here, too! Latte found a spot on the porch where it is a little dry. Still might get rained on a bit, as she tested it out this am...but there is also a lot of grass for stu to munch on as they chat.

Whatcha say??? ;-)

our weather has switched - you have rain, we have sun. Sorry about the no climb - but can relate to weather issues and climbs and hikes - been on too many of those! Have a great one today - too bad on the chores. same here, sun or not. :lol:

Surfing in blue would be awesome, but my bean thinks I'm going to stay in yellow today. Sometimes she's right, sometimes she's not. Either way, I hope you have fun at Latte's! Please take notes and tell me anything I might need to know about properly bouncing. Also, tell her hello from this little corner of the world.

Arent they soooo sneaky! The only time Latte left the bathroom WAS when I was gone for that short time! :roll: She must of heard Stu pounding on the door and had to get up to open it for him! :lol: Thanks for sending him over (with food of course)! She wont say a peep, so I trust he gave her a good, but gentle talking to!

Nice blue surfing Stu. Surfing may not be as exciting as cliff diving but is fun none the less. Bet you had a good visit with Latte too.

Hi again, Well, it looks like it might be a late night! 56 at +4. I fed some 12% and will retest at +4.5. I sure don't want him to drop too low, and we're a ways away from nadir. Stay tuned!

What the heck? I turn my back on you guys and look what you do Stu. That is plenty low enough. Time to get out the surfboard again. Your Mom wants some sleep tonight.

I think the 56 may have been because of a bad strip. Tested 1/2 hour later afte feeding a teaspoon of MC 12% and his bg is 186. Is it posssible that a little MC could raise bg by 130 points? Will test again at +5.

p.s. I had what I think was a bad strip the other day, too, when the reading was "lo" (and on immediate re-check turned out to be 44). But tonight I didn't do an immediate re-check because the 56 seemed plausible.

I wouldn't think MC could do that in half an hour, but I guess stranger things have happened. More likely a bad strip, I'd say.

When I saw the subject of the post, with the numbers, before I had read your comment, I said, "WTF" out loud, but the words, not the abbreviation. :smile: That was crazy to see. :lol:

That's quite a jump in a half hour-- Think it was a meter error??-Unusual for mc to do that much in a half hour..
Anything is possible...Especially with STU--

Uh, well...I thought STU was going to teach Latte how to bounce..not the OTHER way around! :shock:

If this was Latte, I would not bat an eyelash at a jump like that (believe it or not :roll: ).
Stu, on the other hand...probly one of them was a bad strip. Did you retest the 186?

You know there was some kibble missing when I was gone (and stu was here.). I didnt want to mention it....

The test at +5 came in at 166, so I'm going to conclude that the 56 at +4 was a bad strip. I didn't give him any food between the 186 and the 166. So I don't think any of the "before bedtime" tests are representative. And I think it's safe to go to bed. Food is in the automat, the usual bedtime treat has been given (8 pieces of EVO kibble--yes, a little kibble for Mr. Cat, the only kibble he gets these days and boy does he still love it. And no, he didn't take any from Latte's store!!)
