Morning! Carla, thanks for your visit, we appreciate it!
I think I have a wonky meter. I have 2 Relion Confirms. Last night at his +4 I did not like how it was working, then to prove that I got a 505, 400 and a 300 all within seconds. Got up to grab the 'other' meter and he took off. I recorded the 300 as I knew his activity level wasn't in the 400's or 500's! Tried to test him at midnight but he didn't want anything to do with me and was upset. This morning - low yellow.
Wal-Mart doesn't open here until 6 - the 24 hour one doesn't carry the best selection on meters as the one closer to my house so I'll head out shortly and get a new meter, then test him as often as I can before we head out. Nervous about going fishing now. Don't know how I will enjoy that at all. We'll only be gone 5 hours but.....
If it is the meter it explains a lot of things. If it is just my 'slow to show change' boy, then could it have taken this long for the new pen to kick in? He sure is one of a kind, and so totally unpredictable. He's very happy though, very engaged, playful, eating well and still negative on ketones. For all of that I am thankful.
