Good Saturday Morning, Everyone,
Rusty had a good night. He wanted us up early, but had to wait until the ducks sounded the alarm. We had a good test, a shot that may or may not have been accurate (because of the MJ syringe problem), breakfast of Wellness Turkey (not entirely finished yet), and now a nap in his basket. This basket is really on it's last legs and I think it's time to find a replacement. It is held together with tape and string! It had been Stu's, and he also crammed himself into it because, like Rusty, he loved baskets that were too small for his great size. Two cats cramming themselves into a basket that originally held fruit and cheese has taken its toll on the basket.
We are expecting rain this weekend, but it hasn't started yet. Edward thanks you for your concern about his infected hand. It looks a little better this morning. We will be going to the farmers' market this morning. Yesterday we got some delicious local strawberries from a farmer who sets up almost every day near the edge of the village.
Rusty will no doubt be on the hunt later, when he wakes up.
Wishing you all a good weekend. Continuing to keep Lyresa and her family in our thoughts and prayers,
Ella & Rusty
