Yesterday: A great morning yesterday with a start on yellow , moving to a blue at nadir. Sudden turn to pruple at PMPS & PM +4. Rosy was find but decided she 's not loving the Wellness Core fish anymore; eating slowing & not cleaning her plate afterwards!
Tiger got his appy med from the vet. Ate the anti nausea with appy stimulant. It worked great with him gobbling his chicken dinner but throw up half an later. With hold all med.
@Anne & Zener. Thank you for your visit & advice on Tiger. I'll talk to my vet re the doseage ont he appy stimulant.

Today: A Saturday, public holiday & a traitional Chinese festival; the Dragon Boat Festival.

Tiger is doing fine this morning. Other than the throw up last night, he's having a good appy. Must be the med still working. I will let him settledown for a few days first before giving anymore med.
Hope all is well in LL> Special prayers to Lyresa for her loss of her brother.

Re: 6/23 Rosy AMPS 263

Hi Helen,
thanks for the link about the Dragon Boat Festival. That must be wonderful to watch! We have a 90-mile canoe race here in September and some of the paddlers paddle 8-man "war canoes". But I've never seen a boat with 20 paddlers and a drummer! The whole ceremony with the dumplings, etc. sounds terrific.

Sending healing vines to Tiger, and good-numbers vines to Rosy.

Enjoy the big holiday weekend. Are you going to watch the Dragon boat races?

Re: 6/23 Rosy AMPS 263

Hi Helen...I hope Rosy comes down.

I just found the nutritional info for some new Core foods. The turkey/duck and the beef/venison/lamb are both 11% calories from carbs so that is a little less than the Core fish.

Have a great day and enjoy your celebration!

Re: 6/23 Rosy AMPS 263

Looks like Rosy is coming down and settling into this dose. I'm glad to hear Tiger is getting his appetite. Hope you can avoid the throwing up with him soon.

We have our own dragon boat festival here, the week before yours. http://dragonboatbc.ca/home/ I think some of the winners go to Hong Kong for your festival. We see dragon boaters on the water when we are out rowing in the evenings. One group of breast cancer survivors from here paddled a dragon boat in the Queen's Jubilee sail past a couple of weeks ago. It's a very exiting sport to watch. I love the sounds of the drums.

Re: 6/23 Rosy AMPS 263

Tiger not eating for a while and then scarfing down a meal is likely to cause him to vomit - I would try giving him a little at a time so his tummy doesn't get overloaded.

Dragon Boat Festival is cool!

Thanks Ella! We usually stay home to watch the dragon boat race on TV; too many kitties to be left alone. ;-)

Thanks Majorie. I saw your posting on the Wellness. I'll try the Wellness turkey for Rosy.

Yes, we have people coming from US for the contest. And a group of cancer patients too! If you love the sounds of Chinese drum, bet you'll love the lion dance too!
