Yesterday, beans got away while Neko bounced.

6/22 Recap:
AMPS 153 +9.5 195
PMPS 202 +4 235

It looks like Neko broke that bounce overnight. I got early morning whining at +11, so she got her Azodyl in yoghurt then and it quieted her down. Kitties are getting way too used to us getting up early for rowing. That plus the early morning light doesn't help.

After the bean's breffs, Neko reminded me that I hadn't done acupressure yet, so I did that and had a good cuddle/purr session. At least until the civie discovered my attention was elsewhere.

We get DH's new car today! :woot: I will be so happy not having to car share again. I need to hunt a few pet stores and try to find some more Nature's Variety raw chicken. Other flavors are available, but chicken is in short supply. And it's a chicken product they both like!

Vines to all in need today.

They like to get you up early then they will go back to bed. LOL Hopefully Neko doesn't go low tonight and keep you up all night. I hope DH enjoys his new car.

Once again, Neko, impeccable timing. Clear the bounce after the beans had their day away. Perhaps now you'll join Cinco in the lagoon. Hurry on down, as there's not telling how long he'll be there!

How exciting to get the new car. There is something so special about a new car - the smell, the clean feeling, the newness of it all. The freedom from having to share! Enjoy!

Ah yes. Early mornings with kitties. And then the little buggers curl up for a day long nap after the morning meds and feeds are done. Stinkers!

Nice numbers Neko. A little green would top off the day.

New car! All shiny. Great smell.

Beautiful blue start for Miss Neko!! So the yogurt is unsweetened? Do you think it is okay to give sweetened organic yogurt for a HC treat once in awhile? I eat Stonyfield Organic Vanilla flavored. Tiger used to love DH
s Greek God's yogurt, but that has way too much sugar in it! What will you do this winter when rowing season is over? Now Neko will be expecting that 4"00 Stupid O'clock feeding!!!:eek:Yeah for DH's new car!!

I was thinking the same thing as Ruth -- what will you do with a whining Neko at 4 a.m. come wintertime? Do you think she will hang in there a little later with it being dark out?
My young'un, Coco, loves unsweetened fat-free Greek yogurt, whenever I make a smoothie, she's right there for her taste of the yogurt.
No doubt you're relieved to have your car to yourself now that DH has his new car.

I am sitting at the repair place for my car. On the way to pick up DH's car, mine started complaining about engine overheating. Dealer said not to drive it. We are down to one car for a while again. How ironic! And of course who knows what Neko is doing while I am gone. I will probably be late for PMPS.

I love irony....
sorry that it's not really funny....
I know you were looking so forward to not having to share the vehicle.

Neko... we is waitin' for you in da lagoon....

Your car wanted some attention! (just like your kitties!) Hope it gets fixed right away. What kimd of car did your DH get?

Neko, time to head to the Lagoon. Rusty is waiting for you.

I suspect Neko dipped her toes in the lagoon while I was gone. I got home just in time for PMPS, it was only a couple of minutes late.

Peg, Tricia, Carla, Elise, Marilyn, Ruth, Lori, Rhiannon, Ella, Bron - She cleared the bounce and I was stuck away. :nailbiting: What was supposed to be a quicker trip, ended up not being so.:banghead: We had to limp the car to the dealer, stopping every once in a while to cool the engine, then wait for the tow truck to the repair place and then I had to wait for DH to be done with the car pickup to come and get me. DH suspects is the thermostat, we'll see. Unfortunately the car is about 3/4 of an hour away from me - and DH is leaving Thursday for a regatta in Vancouver Washington. I hope they can get the car fixed quickly.
@Tiger and Ruth - We have one member (Anna/Bailey) in England who gives yoghurt as her HC treat. When rowing season is over, it takes a while for kitties to realize we can sleep in. There might be a winter training program in the gym this year.
@Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) - Toyota Highlander, he wanted a car that could tow the boat trailer and he could use to lug boat engines around. It'll be much better than my almost 10 year old sedan. Around here it seems like my Visa alternates expensive cat visits and car visits.

Shadow - we'z got da first brown moth in da solarium, gonna be busy for while. ~Neko

If it's not the car, it's the cat. Oh boy, we remember those days too. Our cars alternated needing some major repair work, and it seemed to always coincide with vetty work, like dentals or ultrasounds!

Those are some nice blues dancing on the borderline of the lagoon! What does Neko think of the new car?

Just a little more Neko and it will be time to get your cozzie on but understand moth hunting takes priority at the moment.
Hope you get your car sorted soon Wendy but enjoy driving the new one while you wait.

Morning Wendy :coffee::coffee::coffee:

What a nice even day for Neko. YAY!

I was about to say YAY for the new car and being a two car family again until I read the rest. I hope all will be fixed quickly. Good luck!

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Sounds like the thermostat. We had a thermostat go on our 12-year old Honda wagon back in 2003. It's an easy repair and shouldn't take long. Good luck!

Ella
