Good Morning Everyone,
Stu had a great time at the solstice party. Thank you Tess (and Ann!) for hosting such a fun evening. Stu was so pumped by the party that he woke us up at around 4 A.M., pounding. Then he was up on the bed, back down, back up, more pounding, etc. Finally he clumped down the stairs very loudly! I thought maybe he was hungry, but when we got up (at the usual time, not Stu's demanded time) there was still quite a bit of food in the automat. It wasn't his favorite food, so probably the early A.M. antics were a strong hint! Anyway, all Ps are in order and we are about to got outside for a look around. Since breakfast, Mr. Cat, who obviously tired himself out, having been up since 4 and very active, has been sleeping in his basket.
Off to visit condos after we come back in from the garden. Everyone have a great day. Here it's starting out nice (mid 50s, sunshine), but we're supposed to get thunderstorms this afternoon.

Good morning Ella and Stu! Nice start today Stu - go Mr. Cat! I love it when they wake us up like that: pounding, or paws in the face, usually with claws extended. Such a great wake up call.

Have a good one today - we, for once, have sun in the forecast - oh my, and what to do - such a rarity...

It looks like Stu may want to keep you busy with more than gardening today! You might want to get some early checks in.

Thanks, Sienne. I was just thinking that myself. He's asleep. I'm going to test him again now (+3).

71 at +3. I fed some LC mixed with 12% MC as the 3rd installment of breakfast.

He & Moonie were singing beach boys songs last night!! Food was a big hit!!

Nice numbers Stu. Aww, I'm so sorry Maggie missed the party. His Mom bean was going crazy yesterday trying to find a carry on piece for some travel mid July, but that's no excuse, I know she missed Chef Stu's coolkng. I hope Stu keeps those good numbers coming today.

Well, Sienne was right, as she always is!! Stu is in drop mode this morning. At +3 (bg 71) I fed him a mix of LC and MC. At +4 (44) straight MC (12% carbs). Had a scary moment when the first test at +4 said "Lo"! But retested immediately and got the 44. In looking at the owner's booklet for the meter I see that "Lo" either means under bg 20(!!!), or it could mean a bad test strip. I'm glad it was a bad test strip! In any event, 44 is too low for +4 and we will continue to monitor. It will be easier now that DH is back from his yoga class and can hold Mr. Cat while I poke his ear.

I won the AMPS I guess but you won the lowest number for the day so far!
I got a +3=88 and will try to stay surfing....can you come up to join me~~~

What a great cycle for Stu, although he could go a little slower. Glad it was just a bad test strip, too! That's scary. Enjoy your nice weather while it's around, Ella.

Sienne is always right, isn't she?! It's a little uncanny... :mrgreen:

At the moment, I'm happy to stay above 40! The MC 12% did its work and we're at 63 at +5. Heading toward nadir.

Ella, you are getting great numbers from Stu today. He's keeping you busy, isn't he? I think he likes that dosecrease.

I second Roni's suggestion to video Stu's pounding. I have never seen a cat do that and I would love to see it.

Stu sits on his haunches in front of a door and pounds on the door with his front legs. He has fantastic "upper body" strength! Unfortunately he usually pounds at night, and we don't have a security camera trained on the door!! No pictures. Maybe someday!

so, stu went from yellow to green to blue back to yellow today, guess he was in the mood to "travel", lol. I hope this little bounce doesn't last long!

Stu, Spot had such a great time hanging out, cooking with you last night. I heard him coming in this morning and I could tell that he had such a good time! He can't wait until the next party!

SO a bit of a bounce there tonight my friend. I bet it will all clear tomorrow. Hopefully you and Tori will be able to surf the greens together tomorrow.

By the way Tori said to tell you what a great cook she thinks you are. She would love for you to be chief chef for her birthday party on the 1st.
