Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday. Big day at tbp and I am also trying to get things together for my vacation. I am supposed to be leaving tomorrow but I have so much to do before then! Luckily, I am driving up to the North Carolina mountains, so I can leave any time. I wish DH could go, but he has to work and there is no one to leave Simon and Cleo with. Plus, I'm not sure he wants to spend an entire week with my family for our family reunion. :lol: At the end of the week, I think a vet tech is able to stay for a couple of days and DH will be able to join me for 2 days. I am so nervous about leaving Simon and Cleo. There is so much care that DH has to do. Between the subq fluids and meds for Cleo and the testing, insulin and meds for Simon, it can get overwhelming. I don't know how all of you single people handle everything. Y'all are super beans!!

Simon has been very bouncy. Yesterday, he started the day in green, mid-day turned to pink and then became blue by the end of the day. Today is a sunny yellow.

I'm pretty sure your missed yesterday was 6/21 and your today is 6/22 but I can't be positive since you didn't link to your last post! I'm guessing it's because you're so excited about your reunion :lol: hope you have a fabulous time.

Have a great great trip Georgia! DH will do great. Sounds like a beautiful drive and a lot of fun with the reunion. Don't wear yourself out before you even leave trying to get it all done. I do the same thing, especially if I am leaving DH home. :lol: :lol: :lol: Enjoy your time away. :YMHUG:

Georgia, have a great time with your family. I know it is a well deserved vacation as you work so hard and wear so many hats, even a shuttle bus driver! :-D I know it is a worry, but DH will do fine. Take care.
 
I really did mess up today, thinking it was 6/21 instead of 6/22! Luckily, Vyktor's mom helped me figure it out!

DH thought Simon was still at 2.50 so he didn't give him his regular shot of 2.75. Maybe that is why he is higher tonight than at his PMPS. I am going crazy with packing stuff for my trip. I am trying to remain calm but it isn't working!
 
(((Georgia))) Simon is looking really good in his blues and I am so happy for you, my friend, that you are getting away to be with your family. I know your DH will have it all under control.

I hope you have lots of laughter and love and make wonderful memories on your trip. Be safe. We'll miss you.
