WCR: Most Ps in place. She was such a good snuggler and good sleeper last night!!!! Not much play going on while we're at my parent's house (she's not much of a player these days, anyways.) I know she's definitely ready to get home.

OT: (non-diabetes ??) My sister's new kittens are still dealing with liqui-poo. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to add into their fuds to help firm up their poo?! I can't remember if that's what people use the Pumpkin for or if I'm remembering things wrong. She's feeding them FF Kitten - Turkey.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Morning Deborah :coffee::coffee::coffee:

A nice start for Shasta. I am glad that all is gooing well on your trip/visit.

For the life of me I can't think of what to add for the LB problem for the kittens.... I never really had to deal with that aspect of LB duty. A few times AB's did that to Mannie, and we fed him greek pogurt, which took care of the issue for him. I'm not too sure that would apply in the case. Good luck, and very nice on your sister adopting two!

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Are the kittens eating different food than before? A sudden change in diet can cause digestive problems.

From what we know, they were being fed some sort of dry kitten fuds and some wet. I think it's diet change that's causing the liqui-poo and hope it works it's way out shortly. My sister did read on the FF Kitten - Turkey can that it was "made with real milk", so we decided that because of possible dairy allergies, we would take them off the kitten wet and put them on FF Chicken Classics (which is what we originally started them on.) We're going to grab some canned pumpkin soon to add into their fuds. We shall see!

Have the kittens been wormed? I had kittens years ago who had weeks of diarrhoea...it turned out to be worms.

I use pumpkin for loose poops. Works very well. Either cook yourself or use canned ......but don't use pumpkin pie pumpkin as it has carbs in it....just the straight pumpkin.

Nice on the Shasta snuggles. Interesting on the changes they show when they are "visitors".

Good luck on the kittens. Sometimes it's the amount of fat in kitten food. Our local shelter had some kittens that reacted badly (loose poop) to Wellness Kitten food, but were fine with regular Wellness Chicken. And maybe a slower transition from some dry to all wet.
