Racci almost was green at her AMPS this morning & looks like she was green all night, so it may be a green day again. She had a strange bg yesterday. It looks like she had a late nadir either in between +7 & her ps or before the +7 and a dip at the end of the cycle. Since she was surfing the blues and flat, & I'm short on strips waiting for an order, I didn't worry about testing in between at those relatively unimportant times so wouldn't you know it, that's when she had some action going on! ohmygod_smile I think she just wants to keep me on my toes so I don't get too complacent.

All p's taken care of today. Poo Patrol can stay home, I already got the trailer. nailbite_smile 'nanna' has been well loved & bell ball batted, food eaten, most of meds taken & purrs given.

The weather is beautiful right now but supposed to storm later so I may try to get outside for a little while and it's DH's birthday. TTYL
I hope Liz & all others who were not feeling well feel better today.

Nice start for Racci today! They always seem to sense when we are on strip rations. Funny on poo patrol. Sounds like everything is good at your house. Happy Birthday to DH!!! Have a great day Melanie!

Isn't that the truth about the strips! I'm hoping the order will come today but if not, I'll have to switch to the Relion temporarily after 2 more tests.

Ahh yes, poo patrol. Racci was mad at me because I chased her. I saw something but wasn't sure and when I caught her luckily it wasn't a mess, just a little piece caught on her fur. The little stinker gave me a nip for chasing her! :shock:

Btw, Racci's asthma is much better since she got the new inhaler! Thanks!

We lost the sun already. Rain will be here soon so have to figure out what we will do with the day. You have a great day too!

Melissa, I think that Flovent/Flixotide was one of the best meds ever found for cats. What it does for congestion, asthma, breathing disorders is just amazing while having so few side effects. I wish all meds were so effective.

**I just used my last Contour test strip (+7) so will be using Relion Ultima meter for pmps, etc until my strips get here. BG readings will be higher than normal - up to 15%.

Thats so great that the med. is working for Racci, isn't it so nice when there is a med that actually does what its supposed to do.

It's funny how it's a surprise to find a medicine that works without side effects, isn't it? :lol:

Unfortunately we're back to thunder again. :YMSIGH: It just doesn't want to quit. Racci was having fun out here with her toys after chasing away the raccoons (she thinks) but is now back in the closet. She was so cute and excited watching them through the glass deck door. Those raccoons took my bird feeder and pulled it up on the roof last night! Now DH has to pull out the ladder to get it. They're such cute little pests! Between the squirrels and the raccoons it's a wonder the birds get anything! :lol:

Gabby ignores thunder. She models behavior really well for Gizmo who initially will get a very panicky look when there's a storm. He takes his cue from Gabby and then chills out.

Racci's SS is looking really nice!!!! She still likes to throw in those yellows once in a very blue moon just to fool her mamabean but she is looking GREAT!!

Sienne, Its great that Gabby isn't afraid of the thunder. The younger ones always follow the lead. Calli wasn't afraid either unless we got a really close hit so Racci used to look to her for a reaction and cuddle up with her. She was always afraid though, she just had a mama cat to hide behind. :lol: Now she either comes to me or goes right in the closet. Thanks for the birthday wishes for DH. :smile: He loves getting his phone calls for his bday.

Marje, I'm almost afraid to talk about how good her ss has been looking lately. I don't want to jinx her (anti-jinx). :razz: It seems like we finally hit on the right dose for her at the right time, when she was ready for it. I couldn't believe when she had that 3 day run of greens! That was a real first for her! I hope she starts doing that more often only with high greens so I can get a little sleep. :lol: It's too bad i have to use a different meter for her pmps tonight. I hate having the picture clouded. Oh well. This time I bought 200 so even if she keeps me hopping with green days I'll be prepared. I'll be able to order when she goes thru the first 100.

Thanks for the bday wishes for DH! He's going to be so happy that he got some more. Have to go get ready for Racci's pmps now. I'll ttyl.

I think most of them are afraid of the vet! People doing things to their bodies against their will, poor babies. Lucky Moonie to be so brave.

The funny thing is Racci was on this dose before and had to go up again because it didn't work for her and look how well it's working for her now! It's like she has to be on some of these doses twice before they work for her. :? It's strange.

I don't think anything could ruin Vyktor's macho image. :lol: He's just getting in touch with his roots when his ancestors had to run for cover in the wild. Racci's liking these green lagoons lately. :-D
