Yesterday was a bounce recovery day followed by a beautiful blue night surf.

I wouldn't normally have gotten up for a +11 this morning, but Neko was in full brat mode. Sometimes when she wants breakfast and we don't respond, she makes a statement. :roll: The two P's that were supposed to be in the LB were on a plastic bag on our bedroom floor and on the spare bedroom bed cover. :evil: Argh!! She hasn't done that for a while. DH asked asked if I had any idea what might be wrong with her, so I tested. Then we closed the bedroom door after cleaning up. Darn cat!

Late post today, parental units and my 93 year old DA just left after coming here for DM's birthday dinner. They just made the ferry, last car on. Whew! House is now clean and we have leftovers for a while. Neko hung around. She knows my parents but not so much DA, but DA is a cat person, she feeds a feral cat colony. Of course, the fact that it was close to feeding time also motivated Neko. Theo hung under the spare bed or in our bedroom - he's a little bit more scaredy cat.

Nice numbers today for Neko - love that blue! What a nice surf last night too. I so love those blue surfs. bummer though on the statement. aiyee!

Happy Birthday to your DM. I hope the day was a good one, sure sounds like it was. I am so glad too that they made the ferry. Good weather there today for you? Sure was here: sunny skies and 75. Rains are due back tomorrow so we took advantage of good weather today. It is nice hat Neko was a social j kitty today. Good girl! Interesting on your aunt and the feral colony. Very cool.

Not expecting her to go up. I sniffed her scruff, faint smell of Lantus. :YMSIGH: Dratted fur shot, but I get to sleep tonight earlier.

@Michelle - Those low blue surfs are some of my favorite for the overnights especially. Not sure what brought on the statement, second pee today was where it should be. :? Dinner was small group but good. My DB is on vacation in Ireland but we still had to celebrate the day. It was cloudy most of the day, clearing up later and supposed to be nice tomorrow. Neko mostly hung out in the kitchen or between us and the kitchen but at least she was out. :lol: DA had a semi feral pregnant cat show up one day and had a litter in her wood shed. By the time she'd managed to trap and spay/neuter them all, the number was up to 18. That was quite a while ago, it's down to about 5 now, 3 of which come in her house.
