Good Morning LL!!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Fuel for.... I dunno! Just cuz I love ~O) I guess!), and Happy Strawberry Full Moon day!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug, prez's and CEO's of Pawrints Pizza are so Excited ! IT IS HERE! The STRAWBERRY FULL MOON Party!!! Rusty, our new bestest ever LL HEAD CHEF!, DUDE!: we is all set. Lola and Bug have been workng very hard, when they are not playing :roll: , and things are looking great!They worked all night and perfected their strawberry infused pizza crust for the Strawberry Full Moon Party. They say the ingredients are mega secret, but I SWEAR I also smell lots of nip, some basil, and oddly enough cimmamum! Treehouse is all set, zip lines are operational, hot tubs are working, plasma TV is set, and the wood stoves and grills are all set too. This will be one cool party! I am so excited to have it here too. Mannie would be so happy, so proud! well. anyways. onwards! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and and triple shot espressos, with beans from Yemen Arabian Mocca Coffee Plantations, and for all my mocha fans: a strawberry infused mocha/white mocha blend, with strawberry whip, garnished with lemon zest, white chocolate curls, and caramelized berry crystals. .... OH! No worries, a dollop of strawberry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... good!

Yesterday was a semi-laid back day. Laid back in that it was sunny and warm and gorgeous. Laid back in that I really didn't do anything that I didn't want to do. Laid back in that the "work stuff" was done by noon. Laid back in that I could sit on the shore and enjoy it all, and do nothing. Laid back in that the evening was free of anything that required lifting a finger. I love days like yesterday.... This is what a wrote in last night's post: "HI everyone! WOOT! Things got done today. YaHOO! Made it to the store, laundry was done, errands run. and even some yard work. I did spend some time out on my usual woods to the shore hike/walk. I can never really call this a hike, even though many do. it's so routine and a near daily thing that it just seems like a walk. well anyways - nice day down there, Crazy with too many people. sheshhhh! So I headed on down to the southern most past, walked quite a ways, without the chatter of the masses, tide was out. LOL: got caught by it on the way back. HAHA: wet feet. enjoy it, managed to crank out about 6 miles out of it, so good to go I guess. The day has been a good one here weather wise: sunny and 75. With days like that one has to Merak it outside. so I did! :-D" The Picassa links are much the same, once again some with the camera, some with the phone. Lola and Bug - what a pair! they spend hours at night just playing together, and the running! OMG on that. non-stop. run run crash shatter run run slide run. :lol: :lol: Then they lock paws and roll across the floor. :shock: I had forgotten what it is like with young cats in the house. It's all such fun. Last night I went to take a shower to remove the yard work grime, and Lola decided to come and assist. That was a hoot! She stands up on her hind legs, paws against the glass shower door and starts to paw at it, both paws, very quickly. I have no clue what she was trying to do... paw paw paw paw paw paw paw over and over again. It was like a sped up version of patty cake - I wonder if she saw her reflection in the glass and was playing with it? i Dunno! Sure was darn funny! Bug continues to raid Elsa's fuds. I continue to try to find ways to keep him out of it, to no avail. Last night he opened the cat food can, removed the plastic cap cover. :shock: :razz: :lol: :lol: SHeshhhh, but you gotta love it. I think I could see Elsa off in the corner of the other room snickering.... :roll: ohmygod_smile :lol: Normalcy in Three MusketeersVille. :cool: Today's mission: More Three Musketeers Photos.

Enjoy your day everyone. Another laid back one here. I hope for another woods to shore walk/hike, depends on our weather, which I'm told will be taking a turn for the worst. Rains are beginning to move in from the south as we speak. bye bye sunshine...... ;-)

KITTIES!: Think BLUE!!, Think GREEN!! You all be good kitties and have fun at your Full Moon Party. Elsa says I have to stay in my room, so I can't report back to the beans on their shenanigans. hmmmm......

What a wonderful day you had!!!! sounds like a perfect 10. I love the pics of the water calm as glass. Looks like it was good for skipping stones. I think it's the first time i've seen a crowd in your pictures. Everyone with their heads down, looking for treasures. That's a cute story about Lola wanting to investigate the shower with you. She has to be everywhere and nothing should go on without her direct supervision. :lol: I hope you can get a video of Bug working the cat food container :lol: :lol:

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O) sounds like a great laid back summery day for you. I love those kinds of days and nice you didn't need to cook anything. The pics are always so scenic and beautiful. Oh so funny with Lola intigued with the shower. I bet if you let her her in, she would either want a shower or go running! :lol: Lolo and Bug are sure entertaining with opening the lids of the fuds.
Enjoy your shore/hike/walk today and hope the weather holds off for you.
Elsa, thank you for my coffee and Espressos. I hope my neighbors didn't stop you wanting the goodies, too. :lol: Mags can't wait to try Bug and Lola's strawberry infused crusted pizza at the Strawberry Full Moon party. It will be so nice being at the Treehouse again.

Sounds like a fabulous day :-D So cute, Lola and Bug rolling around and being cute kitties. Love the Lola shower story, I can picture it. I had a drooler, big white German Shepard mix, He always liked to be in the bathroom with me so I could never close the door. One day he jumped right in the shower with me, i think the water surprised him, and I couldn't stop laughing.

It sounds like you had a great day yesterday. I think a laid back day every now and then is something we should all do.

It's great to hear how much fun Lola and Bug have playing with each other. That's funny with Lola and the shower door. Furball loves the feel of anything plastic under her paws. She will do that to the plastic on the storm door. It is so funny to watch. She also loves to lay in plastic trays and will paw at them like that before she lays in them. :lol:

Yesterday sounded like one fine day. I'm so glad you had a day to relax and do just what you wanted to do. Wonderful! I love those shore pics, and the woods ones, too--especially that interesting fungus.

Lola and Bug are quite the pair. I get worn out just thinking about their antics. Sounds like you are having fun observing them (and intervening when necessary?). Elsa is taking it all in stride. I'll bet she's happy that you got 2 young cats instead of just one!!

Elsa, Coffee Cat, Kitteh Barista--wonderful espresso this morning. Have fun at the Full Strawberry Moon Party. Rusty was raving about how great you fixed up the Tree House. I know that it will be an evening to remember. Mannie says so!

What a great day yesterday! I always end up feeling guilty when I take time off like that, good for you.

I know on having a youngster around, John and I spend so much time laughing at Emma's antics! I swear the has been up every post on the pergola and the fence, wants to claim every one! Yesterdau she did a full hip spin around one of the cross pieces! :shock:

Elsa! The tree house is fantastic! it needed a girl's touch! The LWT stowed away on the bus! We can put her w/ the other two and listen for the crashes! :lol: :lol: -- Tess
 
Morning Everyone! WooHOO! What a great morning - a woods to shore trek. It was not the best of mornings, weather wise, when I headed on out this morning: a little rain, clouds, and gone was the sunny blue skies we had yesterday. It was a nice time though, the shore was deserted, tide was on the way out, the marine life clung to rocks that are normally submerged. I even saw a few harbor seals, one perched on a rock at shore's edge. Of course by the time I had the camera ready he had had enough of me and slipped into the sound. All in all, a very nice morning. Even managed to hike 7 miles. SWEET! :-D Picassa photos tomorrow. :-D

Morning Mary ~O) ~O) ~O) It was a great day! THX on the photos, the water surface was just as you described: not one ripple. oh yes - the place was crowed when I went there. TONS of people, so we walked on down to the part the masses don't go to. You are also so right on Lola, she has to be in the middle of EVERYTHING! now Bug: if he hears ANYTHING in the kitchen he is there looking for a handout. :lol: I will have to work on that video. :-D

Hi Ann, and Maggie too. Yupp, that it was: a laid back summery day. It was nice. THX on the pics - it is such a beautiful area down at the shore when the sun is out. very pretty. I thought to too on Loaa and that shower door. Way too funny. I did let her in the night before. She sat on the edge and watched the water fall. :lol: :lol: Silly cat. THX on the walk/hike today. it started out rainy but that stopped, and it ended up being a cloudy walk, but a dry one. Nice time!
Auntie Ann - your neighbors are mega cool. I think so too on Lola and Bug, we are lucky ot ave found them, they ave been a perfect match for each other. speaking of butter: they got into that too the other night. Lid was left of the whipped butter and they found that right off. Lapping away a mile a minute, until we realized what was what. :lol: :lol: YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, per L & B

Hi Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) I so agree with that Take a day off now and then. I got done what I had to and then the rest was just whatever I wanted. :cool: I think we all need those kind of days. Interesting on Furball and the feel of plastic. Maybe that is all it was for Lola - she just liked the way the glass felt when she moved hew paws on it. I like that idea. I will have to get Lola on video he next time she does that. Cats can be so fun!

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on yesterday - It was a nice one for me, THX too on the photos. We do get come very cool fungus here.It's fun to watch them develop. Often I will go 5 + days in a row when I find a good one and watch what is does. very cool stuff. I so agree on Lola and Bug - they wear me out too. it is so fun when the chasing and rolling together start - up and down the hall for a good hour. :shock: I wish I had that kind of energy! And yes, sometimes I have to intervene, if only becasue they are in the path of something I'd like to keep intact. :shock: :lol: I so agree on Elsa - I know for sure she is glad there are two, and not just one. She has peace this way. :lol:

Hi Ann, and Tess too ~O) ~O) ~O) Well, truth be told, so do I: feel guilty, but when I look back on it all in the early evening hours I knew there really wasn't anything to feel guilty about. I spend countless hours being busy with whatever, and remember thinking yesterday that I should be doing this and that. Later on I thought nope! We all need days off now and then. so bye bye guilt trip, ;-) It's fun with the young ones, isn't it? Lola has jumped onto every surface she can find, Flies from the bottom on the landing over the top of the railing to land on the sofa. how does she do that??? It has to be a total of 8 feet! I can so see Emma claiming all those posts. GOOOOOOOOO EMMA!
Tess - hey - thx, and I thought so too. It is mega clean and ready to go. I've been testing the zip lines all morning. Oh oh! The LWT??? I love reading about the babies playing. It brings back so many memories of Checkers and his littermate Samantha.
They were teeny tiny when I got them, and I was enthralled with their antics. My first experience with kittens.
Me too, would love a pic or 8, of the feline can opener. :lol:
Elsa must shake her head in wonderment at 'the kids'. :lol:

Sounds like today was a winner too. Such interesting things to do and see, in your area :-D
 
Hi Barb - it was a great day. :-D YUPP! Nothing to do that I didn't want to do,. perfecto! And I so agree: kitten play is so fun - I had forgotten. I will do my best to get a video of "the can opener" :lol: :lol: I am sure that Elsa doesn't know what to make of it all. She just goes and finds a place to nap. Wise old girl she is. THX on today - it was nice too... an early walk before it got busy. YAY!
 
Oh dear! Lola and Emma have joined forces? :shock: !!! And manning the ziplines? I hope they let some of the others have a turn! :lol: :lol: :lol: Although Emma has never seemed to need them to fly through the air! :roll:
 
Sounds like a great weekend! Chores done early then out to the shores. :-D That water does look so beautiful - perfect for rowing.

Your stories of the new kitties just warm my heart. Been a while since we've had a kitten here. We got Neko at 11 months. I too want a picture of that can opener. :lol:
 
Hi Ann - :lol: :lol: Apparently so! :shock: I too have not known Lola to need a zip line to fly through the air. :o :? Crazy cats. It is hard to tell just what is going on out there, Elsa has banned me to my room, says the kitties do not need supervision, and that this is, after all, their moon party. sheshhhh. though.... I keep seeing these flying cats and then I hear Geronimo! I knew we shouldn't have filled that little pond.... there sure are good smells coming form the grill though....

Hi Wendy - Yupp, that it was. rushed through the chores ;-) :cool: and then free time! Shores worked very well this weekend. Tomorrow we hike. YaHOO! on that. There were a few out on paddle boards yesterday. Sure did look nice out there. It would have been a good day for rowing, I think. It has been ages - like 15 - since we have had a kitten too, long time. Lola just turned one, so I guess she can be viewed as a kitten - she sure acts like one. It has been so fun. Never a dull moment with her. LOL: and I will have to work on a picture of that can opener. :lol: :lol: Of course with my luck he won't do it again. well... maybe he will. He loves to eat, silly boy.
