Increased to 10.5 units this morning; was seeing some nice blue and the odd green on the 10 units, but not enough green for Jack's well-being.

The switch from regular glargine to the yfgn bio-similar hasn't mattered, looking at his SS, it doesn't seem to make much difference which he gets, numbers don't show much difference. The heat plays a bigger part in his numbers- it's been brutal here, the AC is finally in, but it's so hot out all it can manage is about 78* despite running 24hrs a day (don't know how I plan to pay next month's electric bill).

The Urinary formula switch is going well. Jack has adapted to the change in feeding logistics pretty well (minus some door and wall damage that will eventually need to be fixed)- he goes in the bathroom with Abby for about 2 hours in the morning and eats his regular low carb FF/Friskies with phos-bind supplement and his kibble mix while the rest of the clowder get their urinary formula wet with phos-bind supplement & c/d dry in the kitchen/dining room. In the evening, Otis goes in the bathroom with Abby for high carb dinner and Jack eats the low carb urinary wet with phos-bind supplement with the rest of the family. Crazy times, but it's working for the cats.

Apologies for not posting as often- juggling work, family, & cats is not going well for me. I'm working crazy hours, trying to pick up an extra project to make some extra $ to pay for Jack's tests. Extra work=less testing though, so a lack of data lately on the SS. The heat isn't helping--summer is my least favorite season, on case anyone couldn't tell...LOL.

Hoping all are doing well, sending love and hugs to the kitties and their humans. Planning on catching up on posts today. :bighug::bighug:

Good luck with the increase, Christine!
He has made nice progress with all those blues!

No apologies here, Christine. We all know how busy you are! Of course, it's great to hear from you, but we all understand!
Hope the household is doing well, scritches to Jack and hugs to you! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Christine, best of luck with the increase ,nice start this morning (6-23)
I peeked lol. Tell me about this discusting heat! I hate it and can't wait until fall comes. I'm glad the switch to the yfgn biosimilar didn't matter.
I don't know how you do it putting all the cats in different places to eat and at different times. You are amazing ! As long as it's working for the crew that's all that matters. Stay cool my friend :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
No apologies needed for not posting that often :bighug: we all know that you have a lot on your plate Christine
