Yesterday's condo

I'm back....and I have a full keyboard again!! It's nice to have my "R" back!
Not sure what's going on with Miss China, but her feeding schedule was thrown off today because I was out and about since noon, so just going to wait and see. She did take a pretty decent dive this morning!

What a day! Had planned on leaving about 12:30 to take the computer 18 miles to the shop (which was closed from 12:30-1:30 but agreed to meet me)…..then was originally supposed to take DM to her hair appt at 2pm (30 miles back to pick her up) and then she had PT at 3:15....then planned on taking her home and racing back to get my computer back before they closed for the weekend.

That was the plan anyway!! On my way to drop off the computer, PT called and said "can you bring her in early"?.....They wanted her there at 1pm!! …..Even if I wasn't half way to the shop (in the other direction!!) there'd be no way I could have gotten from home to Mom's and back to PT in 20 minutes! Luckily the hairdresser was nice enough to move DM to 3 so I got her to PT at 2 (as I figured, they'd had a cancellation and since it was Friday afternoon, they wanted to go home early so wanted DM there earlier than her original appt time)

Anyway I got back to pick up my computer at 4:57....YEAH!!

Now to see what Miss China has up her paw tonight!!…..I'm hoping for an early night, but, well....she may have other plans....she usually does.....LOL

I'm glad you got your computer back and all the appointments worked out. I hope China surfs safely tonight and lets you get some sleep.

That's a good turnaround time on a computer repair. I missed what was wrong with it. Sounds like a laptop with a missing key.

I use an external keyboard, and 2 external monitors - for more screen real estate. One of the guys I work with (remotely) uses one of those external "clicky" keyboards. I can hear it during telecons, not sure why people like them.

Wow - China is so regulated that the spreadsheet looks like one color. I wish Leo would do that. I gave him a smidgen more insulin today, and we missed his 2pm feeding. He hypoed down to 48. THAT mistake will not happen again. Poor kid. He came right back up after some drops of karo and then he ate a whole can of food, which is rare these days. Anyhow, I wish he would regulate like China, but he has other health issues.

Yep....lost the cap off the "R" a few weeks ago and was getting tired of working around it!! Several of the keys were also worn off too, so although I know where all the keys are, I figured I'd just replace the whole keyboard and start from scratch.
