Heat broke last night. :thumbup

Trying to get the house cooled down this morning. Attie is stll being a food snob this morning, but if he is still too warm to eat...we don't need to make him sick forcing the issue.

How do I know he is being a food snob? Because he comes running for the rattle of the lysine chew bag! :lol:

Only two walks today and then some networking...it is like the pet sitting tap has been turned off for the last month or so. Going into July 4th with only one vacation sit and one client on a two week stay-cation so they don't need daily service. That kind of situation puts negative numbers on the growth books. :-|

Tonight though...my favorite wine shop is holding a Dog Days of Summer wine tasting! And yes, their customers can bring their dogs! :lol: So for $10.00 it may be worth my time to go to a wine tasting in my uniform and have my magnetic business cards at hand to hand out. Plus, plus....I may bring along some poop bags for their doggy area with stickers that say compliments of my business. :razz:

Great idea on the wine tasting! That is strange that you only have a couple appts for July 4. Maybe it being on a Wed is messing people up? Good luck tonight and have a great day Beth!

Hi guys .. awesome start to the day! I hope now that the heat broke attie will want to eat more .. that's a great idea, handing out business cards will probably bring in some new clients for you! Have a great weekend!
 
I just have to share this with you all. Most of you know I work outside in all kinds of weather! And as I post pictures here through the year sometimes I get folks who are surprised that "Cleveland" has this or that kind of weather from below zero and 3 inches of ice to literal feet of snow overnight.

Well summer is a bit hard to describe for those not local to the area other than hot and humid. For whatever natural reasons there are we get lake effect humidity...just like in winter we get lake effect snow(feet of snow). So when we get hit with heat, humidity, but no rain it kinda' can wonky us out.
