Taco seems to be doing better and slowly improving although we've only seen one lonely blue number on this dose.
Tonight will be his 7th cycle on our current dose of 4.25. I ran out of half unit syringes about three days ago and had ordered the wrong kind (the full unit ones) so I've been trying reeeeeeally hard to get 4.25. I am barely going below the 4 unit mark and hoping I'm getting the correct dose. I have 1/2 unit syringes coming in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday.
Is that a big deal? Should I stay on the 4.25 a few days longer after I get the right syringes?
 
I wouldn't wait on the increase, he needs more juice. You can wait until the new syringes if that makes it easier for you.

Not sure I have an explanation for the higher at night. It is letting you sleep more, so I would be happy with that. Also, it could change up at any time. Is Taco getting the same food, number of meals both cycles?

He gets his AM meal right before his AM shot and then about 5 small meals throughout the day. He gets fed right before his PM shot and then maybe once more before I go to bed, which is around +5. I did see a yellow number tonight at +3. So IDK.....maybe he will start to even out. He's been getting into the dog food a bit so we've been way more conscious about that.
And yeah, I think he needs an increase. I don't think I'll wait. I'm wanting to go to 4.5 tomorrow PM. Maybe AM??? It's just SO HARD with these stupid syringes I have right now. I won't make that mistake again.
